Note on Room Ready and NS/S at the BWV

Because of a medical issue, I always request non-smoking for medical reasons.

While checking in around 9-9:30 am last Sunday, the CM told me he had a room ready for me if I would like it. I asked if it was NS and about where it was and then accepted it.

Then I asked him if it was pre-assigned. He said no it wasn't. I remarked that I thought the medical issues ones were and he said if it was a 2br, yes it would be and I think he said 1br, yes, but that with a studio, they have a tentative block for the NS room, but will move to a room ready upon check in if available.

He also said all the smoking rooms were way down at the end on the second floor - the section of SV and PV overlooking the pond and the quiet pool. There are none on the main pool, the BW or the courtyard.

When I was at BW a couple of weeks ago, I got a boardwalk view studio, and it was room-ready, too, not pre-assigned. When I was at OKW in July in a grande villa, I requested golf course view due to claustrophobia--I was told that they didn't want to pre-assign, so perhaps I would be happier at a different resort! They offered to switch me, but I pushed for pre-assignment, and they did(but they were NOT nice about it)
