Lol I put an offer in on one of the contacts that appeared last week. my offer went in 15 mins after it went live. I only just recived a replying saying the contract is now sold.
DVC Resale Market totally messed up…claimed they couldn’t send an email to me so they had to call (this was after I’d already moved through the process at Vacation Club Life) and they told me the seller’s counter offer was 148 per point for a listing I’d put in 125 offer for and was listed at 132!! So they for sure aren’t perfect.
I am not a fan either and wont use them again unless the price is amazing (unlikely here), but im glad everything went well for me aside from them seeming to not care to get things moving faster or about us in general.
I remember when I was frustrated and a manager got involved, all of a sudden the title agent was actually nice to me. She said I know this means so much to you and your daughter, when I dont even have a daughter Now whenever my sister calls me to make fun she asks how me and my daughter are doing
Does DVC Resale Market ever drop their prices significantly? I see some contracts I like, however their asking price is truly laughable (who even comes up with these numbers sometimes, wild...)

They will have some “Red Hot Deal” or “Certified Hot Price” every now and then, but that just brings the price from laughable to funny.
Prices are from the seller, and maybe some coaching from the broker.
See something you like, then make an offer you’re comfortable with, it’s all a negotiation.

Like the most recent one I saw at $160pp (can’t say more)
They do drop prices but I’ve never seen a listing form them I would bid on because once it’s an okay price it then goes to no offers accepted and I’m bothering to waste my time or theirs with an offer.

I have my alerts set now and called it "good deals" and i only look at ones that are reasonable (but im also not in the market anymore). Now that im set i want to track if there's any price drops!
Can anyone tell me, what’s realistically up for negotiation when making an offer? Obviously the total cost but what about other fees/costs? I’ve just seen a contract that has an excellent price that I doubt they’d budge on but curious what other elements could be haggled on.
