Not Mailing MBs Anymore?

On a related subject. I verified my address. Picked our bands. Is there a message or email I should have gotten to confirm my order? MDE has the bands listed under "ordered" - but still says I have x number of days to customize. Are they really ordered? Do I just wait to get an email to say they've been mailed? Just feels like I'm not sure if they're really ordered.

It should give you a date on the page. On that date it will change and they should be shipped. You can change the customization up until then.

I just linked our UT tickets to our BoardWalk ressie for Oct and the message appeared :Good news––your MagicBand package will be waiting for you at your Disney Resort hotel! Simply pick it up at the front desk when you arrive.

I have no reason to need them before we arrive but I'm wondering if there is a way to get them shipped if we want them in hand or are they not shipping anymore.

We've had at happen twice. But that was when I made resies two week or less before arrival.

Personally, I wondered why they felt the need to mail them. Think of all the money they will save on postage.

I agree and have often wondered why they mail them. Think of how many people get them in the mail and then forgot to take them on the trip! Or kids who get excited and want to wear them before the trip, then lose them....

It is exciting to get that Incredibles box though!

Your trip overlaps us at the airport! We leave MCO at 10am, headed home, on 10/16. We'll be those sad people headed for their gate, the ones you always feel sorry for because you know we are headed home while you have your whole vacation ahead of you!

As long as you have customized the bands and have your correct address on file, then all you have to do is wait. You should get an email with a tracking number saying they have shipped about 30 days before your trip.

Mine are "out for delivery" as we speak so I should have a package when I get home from work today!
