Northeastern-ers - is it dry or what?

I thought it was just me, then I realized ...when WAS the last time it rained around here? I can't get enough water, my hands are dry, my lips are chapped. DS has a sore throat for no reason. Is there something wrong with me or does anyone else notice this also?

Well, it's definitely dry but I'm not sure it is affecting me yet. My skin is always very dry and it seems to get worse with each year. I am looking forward to a little summer humidity.

It is a little dry. There was actually a small brush fire in NH yesterday. I'll admit, I didn't think it could dry up this fast with the amount of rain we got last fall, and through about February. But I guess the lack of snow did us in (see everyone, snow is important ). My skin has been unusually dry recently too, but I've been attributing that to being back at school, where the water has more chlorine than our pool at home

Yeah, it's dry. My hands are so cracked and dry that I have to take my rings off at night and lather them in lotion. I am also trying to limit the amount of water I put on them because that just makes them worse.....but, we don't have a dishwasher so the dishes need to get cleaned somehow....

It is very dry. I keep getting little static shocks everywhere I go. My house is one big static shock. Touch a chair, shock, touch the cat, shock, touch the windowsill, shock. I am really tired of it. All of my pants are full of static cling too. I think in the last month my house has used an entire can of static guard. They say there is rain saturday, lets hope.

It is dry and I am glad. I have to retrieve the "land mines" (doggy doo) in my yard today and its much easier when they are dried out.
