Non expiring WDW Hopper tickets

In 2014, could you buy non expiring WDW Hopper tickets directly from Disney????? I am buying a ticket from someone (never used, 5 day Hopper) and the seller said that the ticket does not expire and it was purchased directly from Disney this past Summer....does that sound possible???

1. They are still available.

2. Yes, and they are still available to this very day.

Sure, it's possible. You can't buy them online because apparently a lot of people were buying them when they didn't need to because they didn't understand that unused tickets never expire (and were therefore paying for something rather pricey that they didn't need), so you have to call instead.

If they are truly non-expiring tickets, I think they will say something like "NO EXP" on the back. Otherwise, perhaps the seller merely meant that they will be valid until their first use, even if that is years from now, but once you first use them they will only remain valid for the next 14 days.
