I was really worried because our flight is sold out and has been for a while. I didn't want to pay for EBCI so I checked in today at 24 hours and got A60, B1, B2, and B3 :cool1:

:) Way to go !!!! Have a great trip tomorrow.

Thank you! This has been the longest winter ever so we're sooo excited to get away!

Thanks for sharing your experience checking in at the 24 hr mark with a full flight....we never pay for EBCI.....but i was considering it for our Sept trip since the flight looks to be sold out at the "want to get away" fare...now I'll save my money and just check in as usual.....enjoy your trip :)

This flight is COMPLETELY sold out! I figured if we got C passes we'd at least be able to sit 2 and 2 which is all we really need. $80 goes a long way towards something else so I didn't want to waste it on check-in.

Don't count on that, C's are frequently left with scattered center seats. Most times there are only a handful of people left for C since SW's planes hold 122 or 137 people.

I've never gotten a C pass just because I don't buy EBCI. I'm not sure what the odds are of getting a C pass at 24 hours; I'm sure it depends on how many passengers purchased ECBI. I've only gotten C passes when I had to wait to check in at the airport.

We flew down in March on SW and I did not buy EBCI. It was a full planes and we were the third stop of the day. We were A36 & A37, but the plane was pretty full when we got on. We were able to sit together in the exit row as we fit the criteria. I would have hated to be much further behind or I think we would have been split up.

Coming home we were A20 & A21. We were in row 6 next to each other. It was a 6pm flight, but obviously most people, if not alll, got off in Orlando.

Both times I checked in with my smart phone right at 24 hours. Keep in mind it was just DH and me, so we did not have to sit together. That is why I did not buy EBCI.
