No discount through Cheap Tickets?

Every code I am receiving lately from Cheap Tickets is not applying to Disney hotels. Is everyone else having the same issue? I can get Orbitz to apply but its only 15%

Yes. I couldn't get any Disney resorts to come up with a Cheaptickets discount code. I did book through Orbitz.

The last promo that applied to Cheaptickets was a month or two ago. The last one was a stacked discount of the 30% off Disney was offering plus an additional 22%... I jumped at it.

Hopefully they will start applying agai!

Orbitz owns cheaptickets and they have a current code that works with Disney resorts. In fact, when I found a better cheaptickets code than the one I had booked, I called CT and was transferred over to Orbitz. They a handled the cancellation and re-book with the CT code. Would definitely check Orbitz!!! The code is DISCOVER...

Seems too good to be true that these codes apply during Easter week! I'm so appreciative for the people on here that posted the deal -- otherwise we wouldn't have been able to stay where we want to over Easter

I know it helps a lot. Nice to know you can sometimes get a discount when Disney doesn't give one. I was really surprised when I got 25% off on top of the Disney discount! Love saving money on this trip, to save for the next one!

I tried booking the end of August and the 25% off did not apply for disney hotels

It looks like the end of August is much more limited, but the values and POR are included for the dates I plugged in, 8/23 - 8/31.

I was disappointed at first, but then I ran the numbers and found I would actually save money NOT using it. My DSs and DH don't eat dessert very often, so I'd be paying for something that wouldn't be used. And sometimes all I want is an appetizer and a dessert, so it's better for us to just do OOP...

yeah we ran the numbers and the dining plan is worse for us too. we find counter service desserts yucky and don't eat them normally. For dinner we generally hit the all you can eats so we don't have to wait for food with out impatient 3.5 and 1.5 year olds and they include dessert anyway

We just did the dining plan on our trip last week, it was the S/P/D deal so we decided to try it out. The dining plan ended up costing us more, we figure the next time we go we just want to do Quick Service and skip all the desserts, we are also big water drinkers. We will end up further ahead by taking a RO discount and paying for our food oop.

Before we started staying CL, I used to pack some food like protein bars that we could eat for breakfast in our room and also crackers and snacks that we could take to the parks. I also pre-ordered some food from Garden Grocer that was always delivered to our room when we arrived, mainly things like orange juice, cereal, milk.... As far as the meals we needed to buy in the parks, we'd always have our own drinks so if we bought quick service we always saved on the drinks.

We've also did breakfast in the room with basics like cereal, muffins, donuts, milk, yogurt and juice. Garden Grocers is great! I would buy the individual cereal servings at home and bring them with us. We are all water drinkers, soda just isn't something we like to drink, so we always order ice water wherever we eat, which will save a little. If you go to places that have huge servings, you can share some if your meals. We aren't huge eaters and often share a meal so we can leave room for dessert! One of the places with generous portions and wonderful food, is WPE. The meatloaf, meatloaf sandwich, pizzas, half chicken dinner and Bolognese are all shareable! If you share a meal and order an extra side, you'll save a little, too. There are several places where sharing is very doable.
