I am behind in posting, too. We are having yucky weather here in TN, so I am home today. Here is my update for the 6th-8th, since I am not going out today. Also, realized I forgot to record my gas on the 5th, so I am correcting that. I am really proud of us on the entertainment and eating out. We normally spend the $50 the first weekend, but we only bought my mom some lunch, so that worked out really well. No promises we won't spend it this weekend, though, after being in the house for a few days.

My budget for this month:

Well, yesterday wasn't a $0 day but not too bad. Another horrible day at work added to the fact that it was cooooolllllldddd and we were expecting icy roads, so some people were late coming in and I had a headache from hades.

Anyway- bought drinks and snacks in the campus bookstore

1/8 $5

Today we will get groceries and dh will have to stock up his truck (he's a truck driver and carries some food items with him so it doesn't cost so much on the road), so it won't be $0 today, either.

I have also got to order some things for my Avon business and haven't really sold much in the past couple of weeks (everyone ELSE trying to have those $0 days :rotfl:), so that will be a little bit of a cost.

Other than that, shouldn't be any spending going on.

Well yesterday should have been a $0 day, but DH called and forgot his wallet at home and had a doctor's appointment. So I took him his wallet and he took me to lunch. We had a coupon so we spent $12 with tip. We had the all you can eat soup and small pizza at Unos and both filled up on soup and brought our pizzas home, so we ate those for dinner and got 2 kids meals for the younger kids for $6.48, so we wound up spending $18.48 for 2 meals out. Not too bad though for a date for mom and dad and dinner for everyone.

I'm have started the month with a budget of $800. I'm aiming for 10 $0 days, too. ;)

Jan 8: This was supposed to be a $0, but I realized that DD needed stuff for her choir 'camp' this weekend, and then I got some great deals on Christmas cards/paper/gift card holders. Couldn't leave them in the store $27

So in October I bought a new kind a cat litter, which turned out to be horrible. I wrote a letter to the company to ask for a refund, I had about given up on seeing my money again since it has been so long. But yesterday I got a check for $7.16 from the cat litter company!! The rest of today should be a 0 day; I'll be too tried from swim practice to do anything until work.
