Nick Hotel transportation

We will be staying at the Nick Hotel in a couple of weeks. We will have a rental car, but the hotel provides free shuttle service. Has anyone out there used the Nick Hotel shuttle to get to WDW, Sea World or Universal? What should we do? Ride or drive???

drive, the hotel is near to all three and you won't be worrying about making the shuttles. the hotel is only a mile from WDW.

What about on the night we go to MNSSHP? Do you think we should drive that night?

You'll definitely want to drive. My guess is that the Nick Hotel won't provide transportation back from special parties and if you don't drive, you'll be stuck getting a taxi back to the hotel. There is a schedule for transportation on the Nick Hotel website so that you can see the scheduled times for pick up at each place.

travelmom23- We will be there the 8-11 doing MNSSHP on the 10th. Will you be there those dates?

It is much easier to drive and be in control of when you come and go. The shuttles run on a set schedule and it is unlikely they will accomodate the MNSSHP. You have to pay to park but it is worth it.

We rented a car while in Orlando this trip si I did'nt use the bus system at Nick but I did take a look at it. You left the hotel early in the AM and the return bus is not until late in the afternoon. i like having the flexability that if i want to leave i can. I thought it really limlited your schedule. Have fun at Nick we loved it!

We stayed at the Nick Hotel in August, awsome hotel!

We drove down to FLA so we had our car. We drove to the parks because we didn't want to wait for the buses. They have a couple set times in the AM that the buses leave for the parks, and late PM (starting around 5:30) for trips back to the hotel. You can view the transportation schedule on their web site.
