Hey OP, my husband and I just spent our honeymoon at Disney in October,and we stayed at Pop. Certainly didn't take away from our stay, and we didn't find it noisy at all.

If it were me I'd look into the Grand Floridian, The Boardwalk and Wilderness Lodge (in that order) Have fun!!!! Love your wedding photos!!!

I'm glad a few people mentioned POR....I tend to be an all or nothing aka "extremist" type of person sometimes...lol.....so when I was thinking about resorts of course I was like "Ok, we'll do Grand Floridian or Pop- those are our 2 choices" LOL. Of course there are the moderate resorts in between that are also a good option. POR does look romantic and I've never been there so it sounds like a good plan!! Now, to check out the prices. lol.

And now, a little over 3 and half years later ( In September 2015) my husband (yes we got married since our 2012 trip—picture below from our wedding) and I will be returning to the world!!

I’ll spare you the LONG story of what all has happened to us over the past 3 years- instead let’s just stay we experienced a health miracle, moved 17 hours away to a whole new state, both have different jobs…and much more. Crazy huh!?

Congrats on all your life changes!

You can make this trip all about you and your DH. You can take the memories you make with this trip and use them to plan your future trips with your kids.

Pop century is pretty much the opposite of spread out. I think it's the most compact resort that disney puts out, and I love it for that reason. I am not bothered by noise, I stay up late anyway, and rise early. And I would rather spend my money on activities rather than a hotel room I would spend my sleeping hours in only. If you're truly looking for deluxe, why not rent some DVC points? It requires more planning, but can save you a lot of money.
