okay ... all sorts of ideas rushing thru my head right now.
bras- i swear by the MEDELA bras. if you go to their website i think they tell you how to measure for one...you can also ask at your ob's office, there is probably someone trained to measure you...that is where i bought my first bras w/ DD1. the Medela comfort ones are the best ... b/c you can wear them all day and they are comfy enough to sleep in...i would not have believed it if someone told me i would be in a bra 24 hours a day for months on end, but i needed it! the other medela ones i bought were great b/c the straps had nice padding for comfort AND they were the only ones that the hooks didnt break after 12 months of use or pop open when i leaned over the bathtub! the website tells where to buy.
good stuff - triple paste diaper cream. saved our butts.

it was pediatrician recommended and has been awesome. used to be avail only thru pharmacy but now its at target in the baby aisle. we put in on EVERY diaper change and never dealt w/ diaper rash. its a great barrier cream ...my HS age nephews even use it now to deal w/ chafing from sports, we got them hooked!!
waterproof pads...we bought the small ones at
walmart and put them ON TOP of the changing pad cover ... alot smaller to whip off and change in case of an accident.
kmart has HUGE waterproof pads that are AWESOME for the days you need to let them air out their bottoms ... also useful in crib/bed if they are sick...layer sheet, pad, sheet and you are set to go for middle of the night sickies. we use them even now under the older girls if they are sick and also used them during pm potty training.
SKIP the diaper genie. we never used ours and ended up tying diapers in grocery bags.
LOVE the throw away changing pads for the diaper bag.
LOVE tabletoppers for when kids start to eat out w/ you as well as the pampers disposable bibs. i would pack a snack size ziploc w/ a antibacterial wipe, tabletopper and bib. kept these packs in the car and just grabbed one if we were heading into a restaurant.
love my leap frog table that they pull up on and walk around that they can do the piano keys or colors or whatever on.
my stokke chairs for when they get older. DD2 never used a highchair went directly to this at the table w/ us.
BOTTLES ... if you are nursing, dont waste money on different nipples. i did b/c i didnt find out til LATER that you are only supposed to use the slow ones so that they dont get lazy and like the fast milk from the bottle better than the breast.. i guess you are supposed to make them work for it.
i just asked my husband - he says the best thing we bought is baby monitors

a baby bottle warmer .. he says the biggest waste of money is our baby bjorn b/c i am too short to use it and he is too tall.
i think our biggest waste of money was the monster stroller system. they are huge and heavy and take up the entire back of your trunk or van. i gave ours away. i would recommend getting a baby car seat and a snap-n-go...then invest in a great stroller. after three tries we ended up splurging on a maclaren and LOVE it. i think we could have saved a lot of money not buying lower end strollers and doing this first!!!
buy a travel high chair or travel booster..we used both A LOT.
sorry. i am going on and on and on!!!! i will be done now!!
