Universal Express Pass Resort Stay

We are staying at Loews Royal Pacific. Do I need to physically check in at the resort to activate the early entry and Express Pass or will it be added to my app on the morning of my check in day? It would be nice to go straight to the park for early entry without having to stop by the resort first.

You need to check in to get your express passes and you need your hotel key to flash cast members for early entry.

Yes! At least one adult need to check in.

No app.
Individualized room key card will be printed for each registered guest. The room card is your EP and Early Entry proof for the length of your stay. The card is scanned at the EP check point(s) and a Facial Recognition software may be used to verify each guest.
