Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one with the annoying acne. I was just amazed--one day, normal dry clear skin, the next itchy zit city!

I got a free Chic-Fil-a sandwich today...it was a early lunch. They picked my library to be the business of the day, so all the staff get free sandwiches. So i stopped on my way back from a daycare storytime. Good thing they picked the day where I could barely stand breakfast so I was super hungry!

I didn't start feeling sick til right before bed last night, so that's 2 vomit-free nights in a row! Yay! lol

Lisa, when is your appointment today?

Geesh... My family has me a little on edge today! My mom called last night.. Are you in labor. Ummmm... No. if I was, pretty sure I would let you know! but she was just sure of it! Then this morning my husband is acting a little wonky. He is out with a friend now, they go shooting every Tuesday morning... and I practically had to push him out the door. He was all.. CALL me if something happens!! What the heck! Do they know something I dont?? Am I in labor and just dont realize it??

Had my doc appointment today--I'm actually 1 and 1/2 centimeters dilated and 60% effaced. A couple of my co-workers are convinced I won't make it to my due date. I personally think I will walk around dilated for a few weeks. But we shall see. Still, it's 1.5 centimeters less to dilate when I go into labor, right? The more my body will do beforehand the better, I think.

One of my cousins is due on 2/21 with her second child, but she's having a c-section on Thursday because she's growing a giant baby in there (almost 11 pounds at the last scan). She has type 2 diabetes, so she makes big ones. I'm a little jealous--not that I want to have a giant baby, but I wish I knew when this one is going to show her face!

Hi guys! I introduced myself Saturday or Sunday (I can't remember, lol!) and said that I was pregnant. I went to the doctor today and found out my due date is October 1. My next appointment is March 16 for the 12 week checkup where we will get to hear the baby's hearbeat!

That's a great time of year to have a baby--you don't have to worry about snow or ice storms and it won't be too hot when you're full term.

Hearing the heart beating for the first time is amazing.

See at this rate you'll have your baby before Lisa..... just kidding!!!!! I'm thinking you'll probably go before your due date, maybe you'll get a valentines baby!

I'm sure Lisa will go first! As long as she's not a Friday the 13th baby, that's fine with me. My family has informed me that 2/18 is the optimum date, to squeeze in with other family who have birthdays this month.

I'm just glad my body has started to do its thing and get ready for birth. I've read stories of women who weren't dilated at all when contractions began/when the water broke and it took hours just to dilate the first few centimeters.

Hey guys. My appointment was for 5PM today, but they got me in early at 1PM.


Got some pretty bad news...he's measuring over 10 lbs and my doctor really wants me to get a c-section. We talked it over for a long time and I'm going to try induction first and see what happens...with the knowledge that if at any point she thinks something is wrong, I have to go in for an immediate c/s.

Unfortunately his belly is measuring bigger than his head, so she's worried about shoulder dystocia or worse. They panic a little more with me because I've already lost a child.

So, I go in Thursday morning at 7 AM and we will see what happens. (Thursday, because that is the first date my doctor is available and if there is going to be a problem, then I definitely want her to deliver me).

Feeling a little stressed....as if I wasn't before

Hey Lisa,
Just know that the ultrasound estimates on weight have been known to be up to a pound off. So hopefully he's not as big as all that & you'll be fine. I don't know what it means that his belly is measuring bigger than his head, but hopefully it's just a false alarm & he's just fine. Just a little last minute panic to finish up the pregnancy, just what you needed, right?

Right now:

I am simultaneously hungry and nauseous (but NO headache today, yay me!)

I have a zit with a zit on it on my chin.

I think I may have to pee...again...but I just went 30 minutes ago.

More than eating, peeing, or puking; I really just want to go to bed right now but DH got mandatoried to the night shift at work and, even though I sent them to bed an hour ago, I still hear children upstairs who are clearly not sleeping yet.

Think I might be pregnant?

The simultaneous hunger and nausea I think was the very worst part of my first trimester. I felt that I had been duped by womankind because I hadn't been forewarned. I think I get it now, I have really forgotten about that stage unless I think about it.
