Newbie trying to figure it all out - VGC??

Hey there, both of my sisters live in Fullerton, one was born there, and both went to CSUF. >:(
hey now. we love Fullerton, and my wife is totally serious. We love so many restaurants in Fullerton, and the short distance to DLR. It's just funny to me that someone who grew up living in paradise would rather trade it for Fullerton.

Grew up in Anaheim, and now live in Yorba Linda, and you're right, downtown Fullerton has a great college town vibe and some awesome places to eat and hear live entertainment.

My friend bought a 3br townhouse in Fullerton 20 years ago for $150k when there was nothing in their neighborhood. Now it's worth $700k and neighborhoods bursting all over. I should have bought when he did 😭

OMG! I can only imagine. Did your toes get frostbitten in your flipflops?
first of all, what the heck is a flip flop? Is that something mainlanders use to go snorkeling? 🤣 In Hawaii, we call them Slippaz. And yes, I felt like the ending scene of the Titanic when I was floating helplessly in the Aulani lazy river.

My teens really like it when I call them ā€œthongsā€.

I can't remember if I posted this or not. But I was thinking about how our first DVC stay will (hopefully!) be June 2024. And I realized that my very first visit to Disneyland was in June 2004. So exactly 20 years apart! I'm such a nerd but I just love that it will work out that way (as long as our contract goes through!)

Because I'm antsy and just dreaming of our future trips....I've come up with more questions.

When we stayed at the Grand Californian in February, we didn't have a car. Next time, we plan to drive so we'll need to park. I was looking at the map on google and wondering...is that the only parking lot for the hotel? It seems really small.

It is small. I've had to park over at the Disneyland Hotel parking lot once, which is a longer walk.
