Newbie to DVC and DISboards. I have

checked through some of the threads and haven't seen this question anywhere. Should be fairly easy and I think I know the answer, but when you book a stay using your points and it begins in one season and goes over into another season, do you use the points for the season of each day you are there, or do you use the point chart for the season you started your stay during for the whole stay?

Each day is as listed. There's no carryover of seasons.

Look at the point chart & use the day by day point total for each day of the stay. If mid stay you change season so be it figure it out day by day.

As the others have said, each day will be booked according to the season listed, and points charged accordingly on a daily basis.

The easiest way to figure this out is to use one of the points calculators. They figure it all for you, just put in the dates of your stay & it spits out the number of points you need.

it worked. Was not aware that there was a calculator yet. Just got home Sunday and joined last Thursday while I was there. Haven't received anything except what they give you up front so still have plenty to learn.

With a June use year I need to get some things planned, especially since we chose the double points. Trying to make sure we get the full advantage of them, and also decide before November if I need to bank any points to use next year.
