We are planning a trip for end of June 2002 and are looking for a suite with 2 seprate bedrooms and 2 seprate baths. We are a family of 5 and no one wants to sleep on a pull-out, and the house rentals are out because I want a vacation from cleaning and making the beds, etc. Has anyone stayed here? Any help would be much appreciated!:bounce:

Hi
While I haven't stayed at Summerfield Suites, we stayed at Hawthorne Suites LBV on Palm Parkway. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths - one with king bed and the other with 2 doubles. 3 TVs all with remotes (the guys loved it). Frig, microwave and 2 stove top burners. Never used the stove but having the fridge was great. There were 6 of us. Hope it helps.

Just so you know, the Hawthorn is a fairly new hotel, probably less then one year. It is also located just across the street from the Sierra Suites.

Let us know where you stayed and how it went!
Cheers!

HI there

We stayed at the Summerfield Suites LBV four years ago.
We had a large party--grandparents and my husband's brother and sis and their spouses along with our 2 lil boys.

We had two 2 bdrs and it worked out very well. There is a king masterbedroom with private bath, the sitting/living area (has table and chairs and a small kitchen which was nice for feeding my lil ones) and then the second room which is basically your standard hotel room (2 double beds and private bath)
It is nice to have a tv in each room and a place to sit and relax.
The breakfast at the hotel is good...expanded continental and they have plenty of seating. It is especially pleasant to sit around the pool to enjoy your breakfast. The pool area is very pretty.

The only downside was that our room was a first floor that faced the pool (they might all face the pool, I don't recall) and sometimes it would be rather noisy until fairly late at night.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay there.

pigsletmom....do a search on summerfield suites for more answers to your questions. Also, the summerfield suites are owned by Wyndham HOtels, which accept the entertainment card for 50% the rack rate if it's available during your time. Also, the doubletree suites in DT dis has 2br suites, but they're going to be a little priicier.
