Newbie Needing Help!

We are DVC members, staying in WDW August 3 - 8, and then again August 11-15, but, as DVC members know, since the points are so much on the weekend, we are looking for somewhere to stay. I think we have decided on the HRH - August 8 and 9.
Now, where do I begin to get the best rate? I do have an Entertainment book, so should I call for that rate first? Do they usually offer the Ent. rate for these dates? I see that this is value season...
ANY advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I am a Disney Store Cast Member and know tons about WDW but NOTHING about Universal. Thanks again!

The Entertainment rate is the best place to start.

You should also check the "What's Your Date & Rate" thread at the top of this board, to see what other folks are getting.

I should also point out out that whatever you wind up paying, the rate will no doubt seem like a super bargain compared to regular rates at the WDW resorts. (I'm not sure how the DVC pricing compares.)
