Newbie codes & pin

Hi I'm new to the codes and pin thing I'm really not sure what they are this is my family's 2nd time going to Disney and never knew anything about them. We are going from April 23 - 29. That is Easter week. I guessing you don't get any kinds of discounts on these day?

Discount codes are discounts that are available to the public, anyone can use them. Pin codes are discounts that disney sends out to people via e-mail or post cards. These codes are only to be used by the people that receive them. For the April week you are going, there may not be any codes, but if you are a AAA member it is possible that you could get a discount through them. If you have a room only reservation you can call disney and ask if there are any AAA discounted rooms available for your resort. If you want a package with the AAA discount then you need to use a AAA travel agent.
No one really knows why some people get pin codes and others don't, but registering on the disney web site and saying that you want to receive offers from them could help.
