Newbie and New DVC owner

Yea!!!
I can finally post!!
We got back from our trip in early June and bought SSR on the spot!! We've been wanting to own since our first trip with our daughter back in 2002.
We are so happy! Can't wait for our next trip in June 2005.
We are taking my sister, brother-in-law and my neice and nephew! (down to 347 days!!)
I get to make ressies in 17 days! Any advice would be welcomed.
I'm so glad I can finally post here an talk to other DVC owners!
Not sure why so many take knocks at SSR. It may not be for everyone. But, I figure that owning SSR DVC is way better than not owning at all!

People sometimes take knocks at resorts other than their own. It's harmless. SSR is certainly destined to be a huge part of DVC's future. Enjoy!

Don't let what others are saying about the different resorts get to you. Everybody has their favorites. As long as YOU are having fun, nothing else matters.

Welcome home I know Im new too and it sounds funny for me to say welcomehome but it feels great. I too just bought SSR but cant go till June 2005 but I ve been there on tour and I love it but then again I love all DVC resorts and all WDW resorts. All true Disney fans would not knock ant ones home because they would also love it all.
