ohhhh - gotcha....Dale & i did the whole mudbath thing at Calistoga once...it was pretty cool...BUT....here's the funny part....after the mud baths and blanketwraps which we were together for...we had indivudual massages...he was done before me...and was waiting outside for me...about a month later he was out of town, and i got our photos back (this was pre-digital days)....i was SOOOOO P/O'd....he had taken a photo of some girl outside the spa....so when he called later that day...of course i really let him have it...okay now this is all pre-marriage...still going thru the jealousy stages etc.....and he is swearing that he didn't take a picture of anyone....the more i looked at the photo i realized the girl was wearing my clothes....uhhhh oh that IS me....after a 2 hour treatment...i just didn't look the same as i did going in.....

i'm so sad i'm going to miss the bus ride...we are flying into MCO on 25th or 26th, renting a car and staying near the terminal....after this last cruise fiasco & being on hold for 3 hours...i want to be close as 1st to board as possible....

Rose and me were by the pool, I was doing more laundry. We are all going to the inlet when the guys get back to check out what the fishing boats bring in today. The paper said somebody brought in a 1000 pound fish on Thursday.

The rasul is a mud treatment you smear on each other and steam the minerals into your skin then shower it off. Apparantly you have the space to yourselves so it tends to be very romantic. I think Nan and Paul did that too...

We are doing fishmail with the repo cruise. we've formed groups for each day and then we give a present each day in everyones fish mail. The key to this is of course having all cabin #. I will be a pro after the repo on how it worked. do you guys wanna wait until then for that idea? One of repo members prints mini-navigators (on board, I think) with everyones contact info. I can't even begin to think that bringing a printer and supplies like that would be fun...

depending on where everyone is staying we could rent a bus or something and go together. EARLY!!!! I haven't decided yet what we are going to do. I think have Xmas at home then fly out. I'm not inclined to do that parks again, but since it's so far off the kids might want to, who knows???? I'd be open to hanging out at a beachie place close to port before we go, anyone know of any of those???

The guys are back, ed caught a 12 pounder!

I've been reading my cruiseline PassPorter all morning. I played a lottery gamecard I found while cleaning and won 20 bucks! Ill check my nc powerball tickets when I cash in my game card, always praying we hit a big one...

Thanks to the cruise, next year will be void of any side trips. We will still do nc for two weeks, rose says she's shooting for the last two weeks of august. If I want to get this trip paid for I am gonna have to say no if she asks me to go to Florida at all.

I noticed Christmas day was a really lite day for air travelers. Whether he likes it or not we will most likely fly to Florida dec 25th for the cruise. I have good motivation for him cause I can use his dad for an excuse to travel on a holiday. We haven't spent Christmas with his dad two years now because of his living with his sister in the winter. We will need to arrange a good pet sitter as well. Our akita and shi'tzu are high maintenence, the cat, if she's still around by then is way easy. She is 17 I think. Still feisty but getting old.

that was after the couples massage in the villa. (not the rasul) I couldn't believe the price, I think something like $500, but oh my it was worth it.

funny you ask about the food. I thought about posting one of those pictures but it's just Chinese food, not so beautiful looking. It was good to eat

we just ran a quick errand before friends get here to carpool wiht us over to the beach (45 minute drive in a curvey road) but Paul called and said they are done for the day and on their way home. Yipee!!!! Perhaps we can all go together. Wilson came in 3rd in this race, but he is bummed I guess he messed up at the start, which cost him a place. oh well

You'll have to explain the fish mail to me, it sounds interesting and I totally understand and agree about minimizing the clutter.

Moms party looks like you all had a blast, I am happy it went so well for you.

I saw a few beachie places I would consider, raddison resort at the port, cape canaveral,$139 and up per night includes transport. The ron jon resort $110 and the resort on cocoa beach $130 look cool but we would need to arrange our own transport. These all have suites which each offer plenty of space a type of kitchen, one has drop off kid services.

I've been keeping up with the fish extender thread, and I keep thinking those cruisers must expect a lot of notes/gifts/messages from other cruisers to make those LONG 4 and 5 pocket fish extenders. Maybe I just don't see myself as being that popular!

Nan - the bd party photos look terrific!!! how was Santa Cruz? the coast has been really great the past few days...hope it was still that way today. Did you go to the boardwalk? or just to the beach? Kind of miss taking Ryan to BW....we also had season passes for both Jen & Ryan when they were little...made for some fun wkends~

The Fish Mail is an organized thing where cruisers a give each other notes/gifts. You make a list of cruisers who want to participate, and someone organizes it. Nan will be our source of info after her repo cruise!

I still plan on decorating our doors, I saw Mickey ears done around the number on the door. If they are easy enough I will make enough for all of this crew who want them.

I will wait for nans review of the fish before I make one of those.

I will also make some kind of family, diser type door deco too. Nothing too complicated but nice. It'll help is find our cabin at night at least.
