these have been some of the pictures from WDW with my DGD.Also these pictures are from photopass

I mentioned before that I'm going back the 3rd of Aug. I'll be staying at Pop Century. I've been checking out the disboards on Pop Century pictures & the postings of their experiences. I received a great deal in the mail because of being a castaway for $59 a night. I couldn't pass it up. Now after checking out those sites I can't wait.

Nan, I forgot to tell you...when I was looking at your Hong Kong photos, I noticed how elegant your mom looks. Did you say she's 80? She's a very lovely lady.

Why thank you, yes she will be turning 80 on August 24th. We are having a suprise (Chinese) party for her. Should be fun. Lee has been buying up a storm of Chinese like things, invites, tableware, fortune cookies....I'm in charge of food and drinks. Hmmmm Tsingtao Beer is on the list....

I just ordered pictures (299 prints) from Costco we are also mkaing her a scrapbook as her birthday gift.

I'll send you (& tiggie) an invite from my costco link so you can snoop at the rest of the pictures at your leisure if you want.

I'm home alone (a mircle I might add) Paul and Wil took friends to the Grand Prix, Molly is off with Gramma and Auntie Lee seeing Hairspray...hmmmm what trouble could I get into....ok, truth be told I'm just going to take a shower. What a boring life I live. Well at least it will be a shower with out someone knocking on the door, or turning on the water to make mine either hot or cold. I guess that's better than nothing, right?

Hiya all~
today is the 1st day of the 'famous' Gilroy Garlic Festival....NOT going - been there - MANY times....will only go again if someone comes to town to take....like a DIS friend....or even a sister or 2 or 3....since one of them KEEPS telling me they're coming out to CA during the fest....yeah right - haven't seen them yet~hope you're all having (or plan on having) a fun weekend!!!

I am home, sort of alone...

John went camping with BIL and sis, Britt and Adrian are on their way home from the skate park. Adrian was working, Britt was hanging out. Dad is downstairs, he's going to the beach for the weekend. again. It's his borthday tomorrow. Brittany will be 19 on Tuesday. She is having friends over tomorrow night.

I worked til 830, stopped at cvs for birthday cards, went home to feed my dogs and let them out, went to sis' house, fed her dog and let er out. Tried to find an open liquor store, Dad likes Jagermeister, not one was open. We got him a shirt from his favorite fishing store at the shore when we were there last week. I came home, made a drink and sat down here.

I want to take a bubble bath. I had a very sweaty, dirty, busy, clearance sale day at work. I know as soon as I get in the bathroom the kids'll be home and knocking at my bathroom door.

I updated my trippie last night! Got all of sea world done, check it out when you guys have a minute...

i'm not at all home alone....but DS is getting some stuff ready for our garage sale tomorrow....I dd take a 'nice relaxing bubble bath" and MISSED Barry's 754th HR...UUUUUUGGGGHHHHH - did DH tivo it??? NO~so now he's setting the Tivo every time Barry's up!!! but at least the keep showing the replay!!!

Next week is my 'home alone' time....DH taking DS & some friends camping - they leave wed and don't return till Sat -

I've been away in Upstate New York (Coxsackie, to be exact, and yes Jesse LOVES the name of that town! ). It's in the Catskills. Had a nice time with Jesse visiting my dad and sis, but glad to be home.

Grim, if you have internet in DL, I wish you a wonderful time!!!!!!!!!!

Jill, what a cool grandmother you are, I mean it. You two girls look like you had a ball together. I have to admit, though, the dinosaur in AK scares the living life out of me. In every photo, I'm facing away from it, hunched down, with eyes and ears covered! Thanks for posting. Alyssa is a cutie. And boy has she grown from the pics we saw from your famous hurricane cruise with her and your other DD!

Brenda, congratulations on the new wheels! Sounds like you like luxury cars...no Honda Civics for you! That's my girl! (Even though Mel drives a H Civic and loves it.)

Chad'll be home tomorrow, and I can't wait. I missed him so much.

I just realized my Mom and DU are gonna be staying at the POP together!!!!!

Well, not really together, but def at the same time!

btw, Mom, the pics of you and Alyssa turned out great! I am glad I can still give you new and useful advice to make your trips that much more enjoyable~

Would you like to meet mine and Aisling's friend Disunc?

He's traveling with his nephew James...those two have been going to the world every year for quite a few years now. James is 13 now, just like Alyssa. I honestly think you two would have a fab time together, even if it's for a mini meet-you two (3) should hang out~

If you saw the pics from the Magicmeet Disunc is the New Yawka who looks like Elton John...

James doesn't like to get his picture taken, so these were the best I could get of him...
