the moderators have deleted 999Ghsts from the boards

It's really too bad that they had to do that. Such a waste of a wealth of information. Fortunately I went thru all the posts a while back and copied all the information I found that would help me out, but it was awfully nice to be able to run thru her posts to get information!

That really upsets me about 999ghsts!! I started to PM them the other day and thought... I'll wait until closer to my date... 999ghsts if you read this, please send me a note... I want to let you know how much I have appreciated all your help, here and on the cruise board!!!

Unfortunately I didn't download or print out all of the valuable info thinking oh I can just go back through when I get closer to my date to leave.

HI ALL!!! i have been reading all of the wonderful posts while preparing to make reservations. I really appreciate all the info! This will be our first Disney trip and we are so excited!! my question is about the weather in january. Is it warm enough to swim? what about the water parks? Thank you so much!

I thought I was going nuts yesterday because I was searching for some of 999's posts and couldn't find any! Wow, what a shame that something like this has to happen. She really provided a lot of valuable information. Now I wish I would have printed some of it out because it's all gone.

That must be why the other day there were about 90 pages of post and then I noticed yesterday afternoon and today that there were only about 85-86 pages of post. So someone must have taken all of her post out. How rude!

I know you all don't know me as I have been just reading through the posts as a former R/A at WL, I have sent Kimmar a PM to figure this all out and Yes, it was "at the request of 999ghsts" that the moderators deleted the sign on. In deleting a sign on it in in turn removes all the posts as well. From what I understand in talking to Kimmar 999ghsts will still be around to answer your questions but will do so via Kimmar.

NancyL...Sturdy Branches is open to everyone. There is a fee for non-DVC members but you are able to use it and yes, there are cardio and resistance equipment.

PattyT...Are you looking for "adjoining" (side-by-side) or "connecting" (side-by-side w/door to connect the 2 rooms)? Make sure your request is accurate or you may be disappointed. If you are looking for connecting, you can't go wrong in a standard room, as they are ONLY in the south wing.

Hnymoon@dixie...the rooms over by the otter pond vary so drastically during different seasons. Rm 5032 is the only one I know that you can see MK, as I have been in this room. The 6th floor rooms in this area have dormer balconies, but you can see MK from a few of them as they are above the trees in most places. As for rehab in CBR, it hasn't changed the occupancy of WL; WL is usually full anyway.

wiscmomof2...std rooms are either rooms on the 4th floor over the front desk (overlooking rooftops)or rooms on north wing floors 4, 5, and 6 that overlook the service delivery area.

Jama...resort pools and water parks keep the water temp at 80 degrees so the water will be fine (getting out may be chilly!) With Fl weather you never know what is going to happen.

Here are some shots of their trip- they went 9/13-9/19 and had a wonderful time- thank you to all of you on the board for your prayers and incredible amount of ideas that helped pull this off!

Just wanted to say I hope everyone here came through Tropical Storm Izzy Ok if you were in its path like we were. It was not bad at all like they originally forecast. So Louisiana didnt get it too bad just lots of rain... Heres praying that Lili stays away also.

I am finishing up our plans (really excited about staying at the WL) and I was just wondering what all there is to do at the WL.

What should we not miss?

mzmickey - we stayed there last november, you will love it! the ewp passes by roughly around 9:45 and is great. Also, when you check in request to be flag family - there are great views from the roof! The lobby is amazing and its fun to just sit and people watch. look for animal prints in the walk ways out back. My favorite times at the Lodge where at night with the cricket sounds out back and the pool lit up - it is breathtaking to stand out near the geyser and look back at the lodge - you will love it! have a great time - the cm's are incredible, and everyone is smiling!

Question for you all:
We have stayed at the WL twice and I absolutely love the place.
I never thought I would want to stay any where else.
We are in the pre-planning stages of our third trip and my kids mentioned they would like to try AKL.
I have not seen it in person but from the maps it looks pretty neat.
So I am debating whether I should stay with WL or give AKL a try.
I am afraid if I pick AKL I will miss WL too much
We dont get to WDW too often so it might be awhile before we got back to WL.
Have any of you been to both, can you give me some pros and cons.
Also was thinking of spliting stay but with three kids I dont know how convient that would be.
