Previously 2 packages with 2 variations each have been available for the Fantasy Springs release: 1n/2d (DL then FS passport) and 2n/3d (DL, FS passport, DSea day)

1n/2d: https://reserve.tokyodisneyresort.jp/en/vp/detail/PAE2ATTRALL77/
2n/3d: https://reserve.tokyodisneyresort.jp/en/vp/detail/PAE2ATTRALL76/

NOW they've announced a NEW 2n/2d: DL-unlimited DPA access, DSea - Unlimited DPA access
-
essentially unrestricted FastPass/Lightning Lane access to all rides on both day at the park.

"With this plan, you can maximize your time at Tokyo Disney Resort and experience eligible attractions as many times as you like during your stay, with a reduced wait time.

Furthermore, this added flexibility allows you to enjoy the attractions of your choice at your own pace, giving you more opportunities to try new things, discover hidden park gems, and have a diverse range of experiences. You can elevate your two-day trip even further by personalizing your itinerary through advance restaurant bookings and more."

Simply present your Special Attraction Ticket at the entrance of the venue to enjoy the experience with a reduced wait time.

* Venues accepting Special Attraction Tickets at Tokyo Disneyland
Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast
The Happy Ride with Baymax
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Pooh's Hunny Hunt

Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek!

* Venues accepting Special Attraction Tickets at Tokyo DisneySea

+ The 1-Day Passport: Fantasy Springs Magic allows entry to Tokyo DisneySea, and admission to Fantasy Springs and its attractions.

*Dining preselects in park for all meals
*Beverage ticket and Popcorn Case

The original 2d and 3d VPs would carry about a $500 premium for 4 people compared to a la carte selections -- it's really hard to tease out the benefits of the beverage ticket and value of preselecting rides and dining rooms.

This new package doesn't even have preselects LL -- it is unlimited access (nothing timed) to all rides with a LL. -

We'll see what type of costs comes with this one!

Sounds amazing. TDR doesn’t even really offer VIP tours and frankly this would be even better for our family.

When does pricing get announced? Booking day?

It looks like based in the price ranges it's costing about 10,000 jpy more than then 2n/3d package for 4persons, but need to see when the packages drop on July 2.

Agreed , this is self directed VIP tour for two days....

VP comps...would you trade in 8 preselect timed ILL and 1 day ticket at disneysea and $80 premium. For 2 days 1 park unlimited ILL access?

With our son, Our touring style would favor the latter since their LL are typically 10min or less and he is rather unpredictable. ...but you lose a day at the most unique Disney park too. The tradeoffs are palpable.

Speaking of trade offs, it looks like the dates for the next wave of this package start and end before they finish installing Groot throughout their It’s A Small World. Decisions, decisions.

Idk how I feel about it. I mean obviously OLC is making serious money from it. I don't think anyone wouldn't take advantage of it if given the option. On the otherhand, for a company that is "known" for being better than Disney, this just isn't even remotely fair to regular guests. It's practically a game changing package, there's nothing remotely close that a normal guests can obtain compared to it.

It just doesn't feel very "OLC"-like, just more like modern Disney behind the wheel is what I mean.

I actually hope the US parks move in this direction— line skipping should be priced at a very high amount and sold to fewer people. This would make both the line skipping product and the standby queue product superior.

They are businesses and can’t build new rides if it doesn’t bring in enough money to justify it. WDW has been trying to sell cheap LL access resulting in a product that is obnoxious for most guests much of the time for a couple years now.

I am seriously considering this new option. I will still want to buy a ticket for a second day at Disney Sea but with the good exchange rate, the cost of a one day ticket is so much cheaper than a day at Disney in Orlando.

I don't see it this way.

OLC is giving us an option of buying a vacation package that offers additional benefits but if I don't buy it, I'm not really worse off than before. I don't see this as unfair because I'm still able to do what I could before and I'm allowed to buy the new vacation package if I want to.

My issue with Disney is that their changes actually make things worse off for ordinary guests. First, fastpass went from free to costing money. Soon, if you don't book a Disney hotel for Disney World, you'll likely have a harder time getting lightning lanes for the best attractions because hotel guests can book them all 7 days in advance. The problem is that Disney is delivering less value but trying to charge more money.

One other thing about the packages is that OLC added the additional night at the end. This is something that people have been asking for but if OLC wanted to be greedy, they could make more money by keeping the vacation packages as just one night of hotel. Instead of selling two vacation packages for those two nights of hotel, they now only sell one. There's even some people who currently buy overlapping vacation packages but don't really want that extra park ticket on the overlapping day. These people may actually end up spending less but getting a better overall experience.

Additionally, having all these other attractions on the unlimited priority access roster means that foreign visitors with vacation packages will be less likely to re-ride attractions in Fantasy Springs and more likely to go on other rides in the park. This should allow OLC to release a few more Premier Access and Standby Pass for attractions in Fantasy Springs to regular guests. So the new vacation packages may actually make it a tiny bit easier for regular guests to experience the top attractions in Fantasy Springs.

A portion of people buying vacation package still buy additional premier access. I've also seen foreign visitors miss the time on their vacation package tickets for experiences. The new package simplifies things for these people. I really think OLC is trying to make a vacation package that people want. If they make more money by offering a good product, I think they deserve that money.

This is where we side with the current 2n/3d package. That additional.day allows for a lot of things...parade. shows, liner cruising, popcorn buffets. With the 8 preselects and the fs passport, it really does work out nicely in the Traditional fp+ touring style.

This new one is a attraction persons heaven. If it gives dpa and access to the shows.....that really improves on it -- jammed packed touring over two days if you're willing to do it with this new package.

I have been making pricing guesses based on the starting prices given (general range, not date specific) and it appears that the new package will be more expensive. I am really torn but now I am back leaning towards the current 2n/3d. With the new package I would still need to buy park tickets for the third day. I am thinking that the preselects and the fs passport will be enough reservations for us. So many decisions. LOL

Whelp - signed on at 1030pm pst and got in right at 1100pm; VP 2n/2d unlimited package chosen and then --- stalls out at content selection for the resturants. -- kicks me out and back to 'more than an hour' -- eek.

Can confirm that Day 3 breakfast option is there. Unknown if it's included or just the reservation as got kicked out before could verify if 'included' vs 'privileges'.

Sorry you were kicked out. Logged in at 10:43 PST just to compare prices and got “more than an hour”. This will be our first visit, and we already have the 3d/2n package with DLH concierge Cinderella room. We’re celebrating a milestone anniversary, but I honestly don’t think I want to spend more money than I already have. With FS magic pass, pre booked attractions and a few open attraction passes, we may be okay….

Still practicing for the real day -- January so not too worried -- the real impatient part is the 'select plan details' that just load WAY too slowly.

I wish you could finalize and then go back on lower load times to select things --- oh well. Disney IT. Gotta love them :D

I thought nobody could top the bad US Disney I.T. experience, but the OLC takes the cake by a mile with one of the dumbest and error prone websites I have used since 1995. I had everything done except one last meal time to select. After 2.5 hours, it errored out and sent me back to an over hour line. On another browser, the date is now sold out. What a stupid system. It's time for Disney and OLC to invest is some servers that can handle traffic. I hate giving more money to these ridiculous companies that won't consider what it's like to lose a whole night of sleep to use a system that won't even work. What is the point of even having a virtual waiting room of if you still let your servers crash once someone is let through?

Well that was bloody stressful but we are now booked for two nights at TS in early December! I don't want any of the restaurant bookings (other than the breakfasts) – are there no-show fees if we don't turn up to them?

Well, I finally booked a package - not the unlimited ride one I wanted, but one that will work just fine with the room we wanted in the Disneyland Hotel.

My adventure started at midnight my time and ended at 10 the next morning, with 2 hours of sleep in there. It's ridiculous that I spent so much time when I could probably get the same package in a day or two if I waited. But this is a bucket list trip for my young-adult daughter who is recovering from cancer and it was worth ensuring she got to stay in the Alice room that she wanted so badly. I ended up getting the three day package, even though we might not use that third day, since it was worth having the room guaranteed for two nights instead of one.

Some things I learned that might help others:
  1. It is critical that you log into your account as your first step. Otherwise, you get all the way through booking your package, room, restaurants, and rides, and then it just freezes for hours and never goes through. This means you want to click on the "login" button on the first landing page before you get to the waiting room, so that once you load out of the waiting room, the first thing you do is log in. If you do that, you won't get stuck after picking everything. This happened to me twice before I googled it and found this tip, which worked.
  2. Be patient. It is so darn slow, particularly when picking restaurants and rides. The screen that loads to pick them is blank for ages. If you mess with things though, it will kick you back to the waiting room.
  3. If you get an error screen that has a "return to previous page" link, use that link. Don't refresh or you will start again. It may pop up a couple times in a row, be patient and keep trying.
  4. Know that no matter what you do, at any point in the process, it may error out and you have to start over. It's beyond maddening, but persistence finally paid off for me.
  5. I was finally successful on a chrome browser running on a PC, for whatever that is worth.
  6. My Delta Amex worked the first time, after taking me to a screen where I had to enter a verification code, which I thought for sure would kill my session due to the long handoff, but it did not. I did call Amex yesterday to explain what I would be charging to the card and the rep did a couple of things on the account. I don't know if that was needed, but I figured it was worth the call.
  7. You can edit selections (rides and restaurants) after booking, but the price may change, in which case, they refund the full amount and recharge the new amount.
  8. Non-package dining reservations can't be added until 30 days out from the start of your stay.
My next step will be to watch for the unlimited ride package to open on the date I want. I suspect there will be some cancelations at some point. But it's not a big deal if we don't get it. The bigger deal will be trying to add the same room type to the front of the reservation when they open in August.

I can't find anything saying there is a penalty, but plan to do the same. The stuff that was left by the time I booked wasn't anything we would use.

This is how I feel. I already have my 3-day, 2-night attractions package with the FS passport at MiraCosta, which is what we wanted. I don't want to drop that package at the risk of booking something else. It sounds awesome, but I think we'll stick with the plan and make the best of it -- which is already pretty great!
