What wrist watches do you wear?

Garmin fenix 7.0 as my daily driver. If I want to wear something nicer, I have an Omega Seamaster that I'll throw on. For fancier occasions, I have a couple of Rolexes.

Also have a collection of G-Shocks and less "expensive" watches like my Hamilton and a Tag that get worn occasionally, but the fenix wins out 95% of the time.

As for bringing to Disney, it's usually just 2: the Garmin and a Rolex or the Seamaster.

I love watches and have a few dozen of them. I tend to leave my nicer watches at home when I go to Disney though - not really for security reasons, more just because I'm so dressed down, as is almost everyone there, it's usually hot and humid, and I don't feel like cleaning the backs and bands of the nice watches, and definitely don't want to wear leather bands in that sweat-box.

So most of the time, I bring 3-4 watches with me - 2 Citizen EcoDrives which are great for Disney as there's plenty of sun for them, they can take abuse and go in the water without thought, and they are pretty much bulletproof. I have a Disney Citizen EcoDrive with a traditional Mickey face that is obviously very fitting there. I like to bring one tritium-gas lit watch (I have an Armorlite with rubber strap) that I wear at night both walking around as well as when I sleep because of the permanent backlighting they provide to always see the time at a glance. I sometimes mix in my Yes watch when I'm there for photography - I like that the watch always displays sun and moon rise and set graphs for knowing when blue and golden hour lighting will be hitting at a fast glance.

I am a watch person. I've worn a wrist watch as long as I can remember and feel like I forgot something if I don't have one on.

Typically the watch I wear for Disney (with magic band on right wrist and watch on left) is an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean with a rubber strap. It's a tank and pretty much can't be messed up no matter what I do.

..., I have worn a Rolex Submariner or Rolex Daytona.

I collect these, and only these, and wear for special occasions. But I wear the MB on the right and Apple Watch Ultra on the left when on the boat (only DCL for me) and in the parks/resorts.

Since you mention the Apple Ultra, I do have to say I actually miss wearing my "real" watches on a daily basis. I'm a competitive athlete (cyclist), so all of my training aids are on the Garmin platform. All my bike computers/power meters, my digital scale, and my fenix watch all sync seamlessly into the Garmin app (Garmin Connect) and other apps like Strava.

I'm so "dependent" on wearing the fenix to keep all of my health data current and synced that I feel almost naked wearing anything other than the Garmin during the day. I know it's my own obsession, but it's a tough one to break once you're invested in it.

Baby G shock watch. At Disney, I will switch from left wrist to right and put the magic band on the left.

Apple watch is all I need. I have my Disney passes loaded on there and just tap my watch on entry. So easy and definitely do not miss wearing a MB.

Apple Watch with puck holder, but we also haven't been since MagicMobile has been released. Will probably just use the features on the Apple Watch.

Recently switched to Apple Watch Ultra (L), MB+ (R). I have to control my power assist wheel on my wheelchair with the watch so after some trial and slightly embarrassing errors lol I found that trying to use the apple watch as a MB also resulted in some unintentional power assist right past the scanner.

Same here - I have a couple of the 2nd Generation (I think - circa 2017 & 2019) MagicBands. I alternate colors on my right wrist. iWatch on my left wrist.
I have a very bad feeling that our great early version bands (I have many colors & 2 cute ones that I love....Castle & Bling Magenta) will soon be useless and Disney will make a mint forcing us to move to that stupid upgraded version. I literally keep hearing conversations at the parks that so many hate them because they constantly runs out of 'juice'. Just what I need. Another thing that needs charging.

They only need to be charged to use the "Active" features, like the interactions with statues and other side games like the bounty hunter thing at Galaxy's Edge, if I recall correctly. Otherwise they function like a regular MB if the battery is dead. So as far as I recall nothing really lost if you don't want to mess with charging it compared to a regular magic band.

I would never have guessed that by the constant complaints I hear though. I can’t believe everyone wants to see statues move. Yes, I know…my children are grown so I do understand the allure for kids. I guess I’m just very worried all the regular bands will be obsolete soon. I also like that mine are smaller looking as I have a small wrist.. as does an adult daughter I travel a lot with.

But thank you for your answer.

The statues don't move. They just make sounds. Also, after so long the original magic bands die anyway. They only have so long of a shelf-life.

Used to wear MB on one wrist and the Apple Watch on the other.

Now, I've since decided when I go I am on vacation, so I way the MB and forget the Apple Watch.

Yeah I think even with the original MB it had a battery that would last a year or maybe two that you needed working for the ride photos, and I suspect you need the new bands charged for ride photos, but haven't dug too much into it.

For either of them, old magic bands or new, when that battery for the ride photos and other things dies it still works for getting in to parks and paying and all that.

The new bands also may look really long, but they have a section that tears off if you are using it for smaller wrists. The new ones fit our 6 and 8 year olds just fine after removing the extra from the band. Only problem is you can't reattach it after you remove it.

I think people complain more about it because it only lasts a few days on a charge where the old MB could go for a year or two as noted above when using it for ride photos. So if you want ride photos and don't care about the statue interactions or whatever, it is a bit more work to keep them charged.

The RFID in the new MB+ is the same as the earlier versions and will work just fine without a charge. If you don’t want to enjoy the haptics and lights on the band, or activate any interactive elements in the parks, you do t have to charge them. Tapping into parks and LL, and ride photos will all still work just fine with no charge.
