My mother and father in law are taking my wife, daughter and myself to Disney world the week I just found out is Presidents day. Last year we went to disneyland and found the cost of food crazy. Lunch for 4 and a toddler came to $90 and all got up from teh table hungry. Can you take food into the park. We are looking at doing MK one day and H Studios another. If you can bring food in. can you bring a whole bunch or just snacks. I don't remember them looking though our bags. I found Nascar to be much more picky about what you bring in.

I have heard that presidents week at Disney is a bit on the crowded side, but the weather can be really beautiful in February. I don't know about taking in large coolers, they do check all bags etc, but we bring in snacks and drinks for our small kids in a lunch type insulated bag. You could most likely throw in a few sandwiches or snacks to bring into the parks. The food prices at MK are not outrageous in my opinion. Especially if you are just getting counter service meals. We do the dining plan but our stays are much lengthier than two days. Not sure if they hike up the prices for Presidents day because we were never there over a major holiday but I would say that they wouldn't be insanely over priced. Have a great trip in February:)

You can find menus and prices on allears.net and wdwinfo.com I believe. You are not allowed to bring in coolers, they will search any bag/or purse.

food prices are listed on allears.net. You can see which places you would like and what are in your budget. You can bring in food. I brought in stuff to make chicken salad sandwiches, etc. and lots of snacks. I wouldn't recommend bringing in a big cooler. I don't know if they will let you, it would be a pain to take around and even worse to store it.

You can bring in small soft sided coolers that are able to fit in the lockers.NO rolling coolers are large coolers allowed( they will not allow them in the park)

We used softsided coolers and filled them with trail mix, granola bars, PB&J sandwiches, fruit, raisins, etc. and put them in a locker. This was our lunch, and we ate dinner in the parks.

At DHS we ate at Pizza Planet, and found some could easily split the personal pizzas, and it was good pizza to boot. I think we fed 8 of us there on less than 50.00

Yes, they won't allow you to bring any coolers in the park. Check allears.net for prices that works for you.

Have a safe trip coming. :)

You can bring small coolers. They must be no larger than 24x15x18 per the Disney World site

You cannot bring glass (except baby food), alcohol, or any food that needs to be heated.

Guests are allowed to bring food items-such as snacks or foods that do not require heating-into any Walt Disney World Theme Park. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/dining/#subCategory9

They search the coolers just like any other bag.

We took enough water, pb&j sandwiches, raisins, yogurt (in a soft cooler), cookies and other snacks for six people. We loaded up everything in a large diaper bag and put it under our stroller. No one said anything about it and they did search our bags. It saved us a lot of money!
