new to digital scrapping/received Adobe PS edition 5

ok, now i have just received this program where is the best place to learn to use it for scrapbooking. I need to do a quick album and tyring to find quick directions. i am ususally pretty quick with learning things, but i don;t know where to start with digital!!!

I've just begun taking an online class through HP called "Getting Started with Digital Scrapbooking" and she uses Photoshop Elements 5.0...so far it's great for a beginner like me...they won't let me post a link yet, but go to the HP website and look for online classes. They are in the middle of the class right now, but I think you can join at any point...or I'm sure they will begin another after this one ends in early Feb. Let me know if you have troubles finding it...

I suspect you're using Adobe Photoshop Elements 5. There's a difference between that program and Adobe Photoshop. I've been learning at the Photoshop Elements site.

yes it is photoshop elements. I started doing a course by Sony on the program but it is now over and i haven't been able to complete it as we were on vacation. anyways, i have downloaded some disney frame and havn't been able to insert the photo onto the checkerboard area of the frame? Can't figure out why error box comes up. I want to be able to print them as 4x6 and don't know where to start

What kind of file is the frame? A PNG or JPEG?

ok good question, i am a newbie so bear with me. I select the properties and it says GIF. Can i change it to JPEG?
