New to Codes

I have been to WDW 9 times, looking to make it my 10th this July... I have read about pins and codes on this site before, but I have never received one.

I called today and there were no codes under my name...

Any suggestions for finding codes?

i have an email from disney with a 40% code, but it doesn't look like i can apply it to a july trip...

another questions after you book a package trip, can you apply codes to the trip once you have booked it?

you can use a discount after you already booked. A 40% code will need to be changed to a room-only reservation in order for it to work.

Also, codes & pins are given out a random (public codes u can find on mousesavers.com) and are tied to your name/address. It can't hurt to call and see if you have one attached to your name. Others have found success this way.

Do you know if you can get the AAA room discount and also add the meal plan?

If you book through AAA (their TA) you can get a discount on the packages they offer with dining.

I have been looking at some offers disney has put out there, is it difficult to get a promotion during the month of July, mainly the two middle weeks? (maybe due to high volume)

you can use a discount after you already booked. A 40% code will need to be changed to a room-only reservation in order for it to work.

If you change to a room only, can you add dining plan to the room only and still keep the discount? I'm guessing not, since that is what makes it a room only plan.
