New Spring Offer - staying past the dates

Does anyone have experience with the room only discounts when you stay past the dates on the special offer? Looking to go in June, and the special rate goes until June 14, but wanted to stay until the 17th. Also, can you add tickets and dining to a room only discount later if you wanted to?? Confused!

If the room discount is only through the 14th then you will pay rack rate for the other nights.

Correct, the discount is only good through the dates listed. Rack rate beyond the 14th. We have a package booked and the rate discount is taken off just for the room portion of the overall package. So you can have a room with tickets and dining plan, but would only be saving on the room for the first part of your stay.

Well I'm glad they are now giving you the discounted room price even if you add tickets and dining. Before it would change to regular price. Ok, so let's say the next discount starts on the 15th, how would you work that in??? Book the 10th-14th and then book the 15th - 17th?? And, hope they don't make you change rooms???

I am booked from the 9th through the 17th. I have the discount from the 9th to the 13th then the 14th, 15th and 16th are rack. I do not have a package.

Well I'm glad they are now giving you the discounted room price even if you add tickets and dining. You can't add tickets and dining to a room only reservation. You would have to book a package which has different deposit/final payment date/penalties than a room only res. However, we've been able to utilize a room discount with paid dining on our package.

Before it would change to regular price. If the offer is for free dining you would have to pay the regular price (rack rate) for the room.

Ok, so let's say the next discount starts on the 15th, how would you work that in??? Book the 10th-14th and then book the 15th - 17th?? And, hope they don't make you change rooms??? Yes it would have to be booked as 2 separate reservations. You can try and link the 2 reservations and also let the CM know when you check in. Unless you are changing room categories they will do their best to let you stay in the same room.
