thanks all.. i am trying to rest as much as possible. i must say i am tired all the time. my hubby and i are looking at houses and boy it is stressfull I have the first pic of the baby my hubby named it peanut. we saw the heart beat it was so cool

Lucky you on the win! And doncha love summer when you can get out & about so much? I do need to figure how to do some of that.

As for the buffet, eat some for me and then send on the extra pounds. I'll try to water excercise them off for us.

I am "resting" - the surgery went well. Glad it is over! Had the big giant freak bandage taken off today ....yeah!!!!

That's wonderful that the surgery went well. Try to take it easy. That's what your body needs to do its best healing.

High all from Dallas. I go back home tonight. But before I do I will be going to see Wall-E with my friend and his family. Last night we went and watched some fireworks. The people who put it on did it to music which was neat but they need to take a cue from Disney and try to sinc it a little better. All in all though it was a good show. We really enjoyed ourselves.

When I do get back home I will be getting to work on some serious trip planning for 2009. I need to remember to get the emails of the ones going that I don't already have. It is so much easier to communicate through email than having to send messages by way of dh when he goes to work. He doesn't always see them when I need to pass on the info I get. Sometimes it is up to two weeks before he sees them.

I also have a lot of sewing to get done in the next few months. Now that Dd is back with her mother I will be able to set up my sewing with out having to take it down every evening. Makes it much easier that way.

Hope everyone enjoyed the 4th on Friday. Heck we even went out to celebrate (ok ok it was just an outing) We went out for dinner with a good friend (our Best-Man) then to see Get Smart. I thought Em was gonna pee her pants she was laughing soooo much -- made me happy to see her so happy for a change. Then we went out for ice cream an all around great day. Then the next day John was nice to me and let me sleep till 11 .. bliss.

It is so hot here now and i do not REPEAT DO NOT enjoy it one little bit. John is in his glory, hoping that we will get a few days of heat when we travel south, me however that is why we go in the winter season to AVOID the heat & humidity.

Hi, all! We had a storm a little over a week ago and our computer went down, when we got it back up, we don't have internet explorer or my MSN messenger, or my email at home... what a pain, apparently the system went back to original settings so anything that we added afterward is gone...

we had a good 4th, we took the kids to the "beach" (on a lake) for a couple hours, and then after supper we watched the Boston Pops Fireworks, then afterwards went out on our drive and watched the neighbor's fireworks as well. Saturday we went to my best friends' house for dinner and the guys watched Nascar while the women visited on the porch and the kids did fireworks (my girls did sparklers, the teens did a few bigger ones).

Thanks - I was kind of silly and didnt take it easy like I should have....am kind fo paying now - VERY tired, but its coming along. Go back to the doc on Thurs...do we'll see.

So far only online at work, unfortunately, but I'll get it straightened out eventually. Oddly enough, sparklers are the only lit ones that are legal here in Iowa... They are kinda dangerous if you are too close to the end, they get REALLY REALLY hot... so we always have the kids stand apart quite a long ways and hold their arms out straight in front of them, keep their arms straight...they love them.

We just heard a scary sparkler story from my BIL. When he was a kid, his older brother thought it was funny to wave the sparkler in his face. Unfortunately, he thought it only stuck out to the part where the sparkling is, and forgot about the wire sticking out where it had already burnt. The hot wire went into Phil's eye, and he had to stay in the hospital for a week for them to save his eye. I'm traumatized just hearing about it.

hi all. So i must say i am mad at my sister. She is down in disney right now and i want to be there. im trying to talk my hubby in to going in aug but im not winning... i keep telling him if we dont go now we will have to wait a few years when the baby is old enough... im having withdrawel have not been to disney in a year this is not normal

Hello Everyone!! Thanks for the good wishes on my Bday. Meeting DISUNC AND HIS NEPHEW WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY TRIP SO FAR.
