Greetings all. Sorry to be missing, but they are keeping me busy at work. No time to check in hardly.

Thanks for all the opinions on DW in August. I am going to cancel. The kids want to go, but want to be down with people they know to hang with. Also, being out doors all summer in camp, they want to do something cooler. Not that either one can't make friends in a heart beat but they are talking about saving up and taking their friends I am so not sure I am ready for that!. Getting older kinda dims that "take on the world" part of me.

We are discussing different things, like maybe Nags Head area for a long weekend in Sept., or some local stuff here. Time will tell.

Back to work. Hope all are doing fine & enjoying their time away on vacation!

Hi Ya'll!!!!!

Crazy week - oh heck, crazy month. DH in and out of the hosp for a sprained back, little opnes off to summer camp (day camp), me preparing for a hearing implant next week scared1: yes...they drill into my skull!!!!) - not looking forward to the surgery but AM looking forward to having decent hearing again! AND it means I'll have several days to DIS all day! (or will my head hurt too much to read? )

Hope everyone is having a GREAT summer!!!!!!

Here's a WInnie update. She is doing very well! All tests came back negative and the MRI shows that her knee is totally healed. She has definitely lost muscle tone though so she will be having physical therapy for a least a couple of weeks when she is done with her 2 vacations (We go to Cape Cod on Saturday and then the next Saturday, when we get back, she is going to Lake Placid wth her friend's family). Doctor doesn't want her running yet, but wants her walking alot and then she can start light running in 2 weeks. She can swim now! She can go in the waves at the beach, just can't go skim boarding. The HS has once a week soccer practices for the girls who are trying out for the team, starting on July 9. SHe'll be in Lake Placid then, but can start on the 16th. Things are definitely looking up!

Thanks for everyone's concern and good wishes through out this!

Hello there everyone,
My name is Disney.Dreamer, but I sometimes think it should be "She who gets lost in space way to much". Why? Well let's just say I have a slight problem, ok massive problem when it comes to paying attention. I find myself spacing out or zoning out almost 10 times a day. I live in my own little world!!

Anyways, I've swiped so many of these LGMHPC and just the regular MHPC from the Home Depot. I have at least 1 in every single color and some doubles.

I'm not that fond of giving out personal information, but i'd be willing to share things about me (personality, dislikes, likes etc).

Anyways, I hope it's alright if I join in with you all!!

Lucky you on the win! And doncha love summer when you can get out & about so much? I do need to figure how to do some of that.

As for the buffet, eat some for me and then send on the extra pounds. I'll try to water excercise them off for us.
