I have to say, my DH is very good that way. I'll drop off and pick up dry cleaning for him from time to time, but he does 90% of the ironing in this house. He does the girls clothes for school and mine for work.:thumbsup2

I keep telling the girls, marry someone like your Dad.
Trying to catch up myself Kiki....not working though!:confused3
Omg!!! I just realized that we'll be in WDW at about the same time!! I'm there until the 9th :goodvibes

Here's a WInnie update. She is doing very well! All tests came back negative :woohoo: and the MRI shows that her knee is totally healed. She has definitely lost muscle tone though so she will be having physical therapy for a least a couple of weeks when she is done with her 2 vacations (We go to Cape Cod on Saturday and then the next Saturday, when we get back, she is going to Lake Placid wth her friend's family). Doctor doesn't want her running yet, but wants her walking alot and then she can start light running in 2 weeks. She can swim now! She can go in the waves at the beach, just can't go skim boarding. The HS has once a week soccer practices for the girls who are trying out for the team, starting on July 9. SHe'll be in Lake Placid then, but can start on the 16th. Things are definitely looking up!:thumbsup2

Thanks for everyone's concern and good wishes through out this!

WInnie, TOT P and TOT B all graduated from middle school today!:wizard:

Friday sounds fun. And the song wasn't "Fuzzy Wuzzy" was it? that's one Capt. Kangaroo used to sing about a polar bear that got a haircut.

Howdy PEEPs!

Jacqueline-- Congrats to you. Hope dh and dd are feeling better soon.

Yeah Winnie!:cool1: Congrats to Winnie, Tot P, and Tot B!

Danielle-- Yikes, how scary. What's with all this weather stuff lately?!?!?!

VA-- good luck with the surgery. My sil is thinking about having it done. She had tumors in her ears and had to have 1 completely reconstructed, she wears a hearing aide in it. She never used to have 1 & it was always so loud over there, between the tvs, games, boys and music & stuff. Now I laugh when I hear here asking the kids to turn stuff off. During holiday get to togethers she just gives up and takes the hearing aide out. :rotfl: Hope Poppa Bear feels better soon. Glad the cubs are having fun.

Dani - Have fun on your trip! :hyper:

Hi to everyone else I may have forgotten.

Thats where that came from? I remember singing it as a kid but could never remember where I learned it. I used to watch the Capt. all the time so it makes sense now :lmao:

Wow, you are busy!! My kids went with their camp to Ocean Breeze water park today. Krista couldn't wait cause she is now in upper camp and they can do the bigger slides this year. Not sure that she will in the end, but who knows!

Ocuh about the drilling ad hubby's back. At least the cubs aren't sick this season.

Oh, yeah, one of them were wandering around over on the west coast, Oregon I think. Man you guys travel far!:rotfl2:

We are having a family camp out in Newprot News park mid July. Oh so hot that will be! But the kids so want to, so if mom can adjust her schedule right, we'll go late and I'll have to leave a bit early to get to work Saturday.

Congrats on the graduations & watch out High school! Glad her knee is better. Tell her to work it in the water as much as she can. It will strengthen it with the resistance of the water. IF she has a swim noodle, have her but it under the arch of her foot and move her knee up and down. Or tie it to her ankle or foot as she is wandering in the water!

Kinda a silly question. or opinion asking. I went ahead and booked DW for free dining in late August again. One more payment to go, no plane tickets yet. But I am not really feeling it this time. Kida are willing to do other things and we can spend time together that week before school starts. Bleah...just not really excited about it.

Opinions please? I have until the 8th to make that last payment.

IMHO, it's a lot of money and a lot of effort if you are not feeling it. To me, WDW is like a marathon, and I've got to be "in shape" to enjoy the trip. I can't justify going there to relax, so sometimes we need a vacation that's just laid back. I'd have a family meeting, then make the decision. Sometimes it's nice to just go to a place with a good pool and some fun restaurants. Is that sacrilege?

Richmond has had a TON of bears coming in this summer - it is VERY weird. IN all of y years here I can remember ONE bear coming into the city/surrounds. Would you believe we had one a block and a half form our house!!!!:scared1: My dear cous; better wathc himself! And, wow, could you guys keep that smoke to yourselves! We've had 2 days of smokey haze forom the fires down there - I didnt realize it could go so far and still be so thick! I cant imgine how bad it must be for you guys!
