In fact looks like the entire thread has gone into a coma. Have a great Thursday everyone

Cross your fingees & toes everybody, today I head off to the scale to see if i have reached my GOAL! The pants i bought finally fit (even when i am sitting) so I think it is time to call it quits and level off.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2:

That's GREAT news!

:wave2: Hi everyone. This is me. If you remember, I had the flu and an ear infection a month ago. Well, I've been coughing ever since, and Sunday, I started running a fever. I went to the dr. this morning, and I have an infection in my lungs. So it's antibiotics and sitting around being lazy until I feel better. I watched Meet the Robinsons (loved it) and now I'm watching Disney splurges on the Travel Channel.
:sad1: I'm missing the field trip to the farm tomorrow. At least I have a good sub though.

Wow! I am so sorry. Those things are hard to get over. Do the docs have any reasons why you have been so sick lately?

I was going to tell you about an older freind of mine, but I'll let that go.

I am sorry that you are misisng the field trip, but relax and get better quick!

:sad1:

I figure I have a few more posts before this one gets banned too...... there's a new place that welcomed me.

if anyone still has my email....email me(or if you have my MSN or AIM ). I'll send you the link!

Hey, Kiki!! Want to come help me with mine when you are done? I gotta find a school library book my dd has misplaced. Hopefully it is in her room somewhere!

Wohoo!! So proud of you my quacky friend! Let us know how it is and just keep watching the sugar. That is my enemy!

Ok. budget stuff to post:

Complimentary Kennedy Space Center Tickets

http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1797157&page=2

off the budget board.

Also heard that Kmart & Dr. Pepper have something going with free Indy movie tickets.

And Disney shopping has 80% off in the outlet. Also could get 2 Caspian tickets if you bought $75.00 from there. Not sure that is still on though!

Might be back later!

hey everyone......

Hi!

Hi doodle!

Danielle~ feel better!
Thanks. I'm doing much better today. I'm just on the pity pot because I'm missing my field trip, 2 parties, and a meeting I was actually looking forward to. I have to get well quick, though, because we are supposed to go on a retreat this weekend at a really fabulous place near San Francisco. http://www.costanoa.com/site.php I'm pushing the fluids so hard i almost wet my pants when I started coughing (sorry if that's TMI).

Good luck. Don't forget to go potty right before you weigh (you can see what's on my mind).

Thanks. The flu that has gone around this year is really nasty. Both my mom and sister had it turn into pneumonia and had to be hospitalized. The last month has been really stressful with family illness, the death of a friend, teenage drama, etc, so put that together with the flu, and bingo, it drags on into an infection. And watch those "older friend" comments. I think you and I are in the same age group.;)

Hey, Kiki!! Want to come help me with mine when you are done? I gotta find a school library book my dd has misplaced. Hopefully it is in her room somewhere!
I used to have a sheet to send home when kids lost their library books. Under the carseat was a popular spot. Also, many kids accidentally turned school library books in at the public library. My own daughter was so bad about returning her library book in 1st grade, I wrote a note in the dust on the dashboard that said "book"(and that gives you a glimpse into my housekeeping skills, doesn't it?), so when we got in the car to go to school, I would ask her, "Are you supposed to bring your book back today?"

Ya mean its spring out there, Nancy?:lmao: Someone forgot to tell the weatherman in the middle states that spring had sprung... although they are saying we MIGHT hit 70 today. :woohoo: You can always come visit me, since I live in the middle states, and you can stop at T's on the way! My kids are good little travelers too, as long as they don't have to go for more than 8-9 hours per day or more than 3 days in a row... they aren't so crazy about REALLY long drives now, though we did a few when we lived in CA, drove from the base to Nashville, TN (5 days @ 8hrs each), then stayed there for a week and drove 2 days to Omaha area, stayed for 2 more weeks, then drove 3 days back to CA. WDW might be a LITTLE long for us to drive for the kids... plus I hate to waste the days, better to have more days in the world, ya know? But we may get to drive it one of these days...
We always drive about 10 hours the first day and then about nine the second.
DH and I are not as hot on it as the kids. Of course we have a van and they lounge out and watch videos for hours, so what is there not to love!!
Supposedly I have been through the west coast, as we landed in Calf from the transfer from Hawaii. I remember eveything east from Colorado, New mexico, Texas, Okla, and then all the states we drove through going back & forth. Let me tell you though, Kentucky and Kansas are nothing but waving grass and flat... at least a number of years ago! The Great Smokey Mountians are beautiful!

And Spring ... not here. There is a big discussion going on if we will have spring like weather or just dive right into hot, humid summer! At least we are about out of the drought now!

I know, I hate diving right into hot wheather. We have had years like that. This year though it is taking it's sweet time and I am happy about it!!:goodvibes

You need to get Em some of those "astronaut diapers". :lmao: DH and I actually drove to WDW when we were newlyweds. We were so poor, it was Motel 6 all the way, and the only credit card we had was a Union 76 card, so we ate at truckstops most of the way. I love road trips, but DH's body can't handle more than one day, 8 hours these days. Our last big trip was taking the kids to British Columbia 5 years ago. Beautiful trip, except for Ds's phone bill:scared1: .
Actually, those are some of the best memories. When you have no money and you do what you can to go on vacation. You look back and think, how did we manage? I have many stories of going to the New Jersey shore with hardly any money and staying at some hotels I probably wouldn't touch today with a ten foot pole. But gosh did I have fun!

Wow kellydoodle, soon you will be at 100. Only 400 more to learn the secret handshake!!;)

Yeah we are close in age, but my freind is in her 70's. Had a cough that didn't go away. found out she had rheumatiod arthritis of the lungs. Never heard of getting that there. :confused3

At least being home gives you a chance to check in while others are on! And maybe we aren't in the same age group if you haven't wet your pants before now! Hand me my cane now while I hobble to the potty!

And about the library book, I fell it is in her room, but her level of neatness and stuff all over her floor, nightstand and bed make it almost impossible to find her in there!!!

Feel better soon. :goodvibes I"ll trade teen drama for almost 9 year old princess with attitude. Since you have done it before you can "ease her through puberty" and keep her hormones level so as not to trigger bi-polar! :rotfl:

Congrats on the weight loss!!! That's awesome!!!!

Danielle, glad you're feeling a little better....hope you get to go this weekend!!
Want us to send you some Depends so you can get more rest????:rotfl:

So the plumber was here Monday because the water heater wasn't working, and he came back today and was sick.:ssst: I better not let DH know. He knows I've had a thing for this plumber for the 17 years he's been working on our pipes. In fact, on Monday, I said to DH, "I'm getting to that stage in life where even some grandfathers are attractive," and he said, "Like who?" and I said, "Like Roger Daltrey, or Robert (our plumber)." His comment? "Down, Girl!"

OK, it's a good thing I had recently been to the potty when I read the cane comment. :rotfl: And on the "neatness" matter, my deal with DD has been that she has to keep a clear path to the bed in case the firefighters ever need to get in. That is how bad her room is. God help her roommate next year. I had never heard of arthritis in the lungs either. Poor dear. I think mine is just good old-fashioned kindergarten cooties + letting myself get run down.
I'm drinking a pina colada Sobe right now. It needs rum.

Hee hee on the running. And maybe the rum is gone cause you have already made the runs to the potty. Passed through rather quick there, you see!

Yeah, even the older guys are looking good and we can make them feel so much better with a raised eyebrow and a small smile!:rolleyes1

Going to work in a few, so you have a good evening and get rested up!

Morning Peeps

I shall be hanging around my puter all day today as I am filling in for the Riddle Goddess

It is a very rainy morning here today but they say it is going to clear up for a bit this afternoon. I sure hope so because I have to go to the grocery store at some point today and I just hate unloading the shopping cart in the rain :sad2:
