That is awsome!! Way to go Krista.. No we dont' want a pic that was emailed to you. We want you to go to JC Penney and take a picture of the picture. ::yes:: :teeth: You know another mom around here had her dd's picture hung up at a local office depot and was supose to send me an email of the picture that she took but never did. Then another person around here was supose to take a picture of that first person taking a picture and then send it to me but they never did.. :sad2:

No, I hadn't heard about the other pictures from OD. Way cool, though! And I will take a picture of the poster, with Krista, but still can't upload off my camera unless I do it on someone elses. No CPU at home. Can't change out the motherboard at this time. So all my DW pictures frmm last year are still on the memory cards and the pix I was going to send to you from the year before are still sitting on my hard drive in the dead box. oh, well.

I'll do my best with this though. Chips USB ports and his whole laptop are going south also, but he has paternal grandparents with a good cash flow, so he may ot have a problem replacing his!

Wheeee!! :woohoo: Found out yesterday Krista is going to be a poster child for the School age fund raiser at JC Penny's. The Y's school age group is part of the "round it up" campaign that will be going on starting 4/11. It isn't running long, maybe jsut for the week, but I filled out the release forms for them to use a picture of her from Day Camp as one of the posters that will be set near the registers. The will ask customers if they would like to round up there purchases to make a donation to the different organizations supported.

She may be at the local Penny's stores only, but I think it is so cool!! I am having the director mail the picture to my work addy and if I get it shortly, I will post it. She is a bit mussed but so proud of some artwork she is holding up. :yay:

Hopefully I will know where and get a picture of it there too. Hmmm.. wonder what they do with it afterward?

Cool!

Can I tell you about that certain person that was suppose to go to Office Depot and take a picture of the picture of her child....that person went many times with her camera and they were a couple weeks behind....then that person waited a couple of weeks and went back a couple of times and STILL no picture. Than one day that PERSONS daughter came home with the picture. :confused3 I don't think it ever was up myself. Oh yeah, her picture said that she received the award for 9th Grade Science....She's in 6th:sad2:

Kat...congrats on the picture of Krista!!!:goodvibes

Gah!
Completely ignore my vent, but I finally finished Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. In the back of the book she has the first chapter of New Moon. I read it and now I am on a horrible cliffhanger and have to wait until my dad goes and buys it!
You have my sympathy. I finished Eclipse (the third book) and have to wait until August for the next book to come out.

hey...do you think that book would be good for a 12yo/
They are great books, but let me warn you, there is unbridled (well, slightly bridled, I guess) passion. The main character is 17/18 and acts it.

I just have to share this picture. Ds was helping grandma on the computer and somebody else wanted to know when it would be her turn. :lmao:

Love the look on your mom's face. Our word for my mil's relationship with the computer is "flummoxed". But at least she uses it. My mom just calls it the machine.

Chip and Sam together. Note she is wearing 3 inch heels, but he is standing on his "good leg"! He comes to about her chin.
sweet pictures.
They look like they're enjoying themselves.

Kindergarten story of the day. We had open house tonight, so the gardener came to mow the lawn this afternoon to make the school look nice. I told the kids we couldn't go out to play until he finished mowing the lawn. One kid who wasn't listening asked if we could go out yet. Another one said, "No, that guy's still yawning.":rotfl:

So our very very smart 6th grader won the 9th grade science award :lmao: You could take that picture and put it up yourself on the board. Then take a picture. You know just saying.... :rolleyes1

T...Congrats on 600!!!!

Aww. I'm not that fair into New Moon. Honestly, it's kind of boring unlike the other books. But my friends all keep telling me that I have to finish New Moon before Eclipse otherwise I will be confused.

They were voting for DWTS! :lmao: She used to get on the regular computer & Freecell, but never the lap top. Now all of a sudden she's decided she wants to get on the lap top so she can write her life story in case anyone wants to know stuff. She entitled titled it something like Call me Elsie or Just Call me Elsie. :lmao: B has the all important task of teaching her how to use the lap top cuz she drives me crazy.

Hullo all.
Well, in Northern VA it is currently 88 degrees and humid as heck!
Oh fun!
My dad also had the genius idea of airing the house out, so now it feels like 10x hotter in the house.
So I'm typing from the deck.

It's 80 degrees here, and I'm freezing. I came down with the flu last night, and I'm going between bundling up and stripping. And this time, it's no fun.
