Here's the picture. I took it at Minnie's butterfly garden at the EPCOT flower and garden festival.

That is beautiful. What a way to start my week off -- yeah it is WEDNESDAY and I am only just starting. We had a blast in the city , Emily & John had the best time ever at the concert and I took care of her stuffed HIPPO while they were out. I can't wait till tomorrow to see how much weight I gained. Seems like all I did this weekend was gorge myself on yummy food

Ok....I just am so excited...I have to share this.

I've been going to the gym after work in the mornings. I started back in February. Well, I got on a scale in january...and I wasn't liking the number, so I haven't gone near any scales.

I decided over the weekend to just take a quick peek.

I've lost....are you ready for this....



19 pounds!!!


just from working out!! no actual dieting.( i still eat ice cream for lunch every once in awhile )

I guess this should be a good incentive to actually watch my calorie intake.

I am thrilled for you! I know how hard it is to budge even an ounce from the body! Makes me wonder how much i would drop if i actually moved this body a bit

I just came back from the doctors.... officially, I lost 21 lbs!!! apparently mom's scale was wrong.

I was soo shocked...I asked the doc if it was Ok.

Even better!!!

Howdy PEEPs!

OMG, yesterday was such a great day for ds I just had to share. He started off his day going on his sophomore retreat to a place called Rivervalley Ranch. They did all kinds of things like rock climbing & bungee swinging--kind of like a smaller version of what's at Kings Dominion.

He even found time to meet a couple of babes!

When he came home he was so exhausted he took a nap.

Good thing because last night he had a soccer tournament.

They ended up winning 7-5, which was a really big shock because they had done so poorly all season. So now he plays again Thursday night. His coach was so proud of him & said that he would vote B the most improved player of the season. His spring session of soccer starts on the 19th.

I just have to share this picture. Ds was helping grandma on the computer and somebody else wanted to know when it would be her turn.

Thanks - he had a ball - and I had some !!! (A house full of screaming cubs is not my idea of .) But so happy he's happy! Hopefully, next year, we'll just take a day trip or something....no more parties!

Krista turns 9 this summer. She has been planning a Y pool party (again!! like I am not there enough already!) since last October. Problem is her b-day is after school is out! So maybe one right before everyone takes off or something.

Poor Jeff. His b-day is 7/8 and usually everyone is gone for the 4th. Krista's b-day is usally the weekend before that. I guess Mike is worse on 7/4. But he says at least he gets fireworks every year!

Both of our kids have b-days that fall during school breaks Em is usually the 2nd or third day of March Break and Ben's is the 19th of December so he doesn't have a HOPE of anyone being around for a party. We usually try to make one happen but doing it without Christmas decos being all around thehouse is hard.

Chip school did something like that for the senior trip. He terriorized them all by zip-lining. The other seniors found out the "little" guy on crutches could do it all!

and the when is my turn looks like our house. They all want on when Chip gets on. Even I stand in line!!

Samantha had her Junior ring dance last weekend, I think it was. Chip sent me the pictures and said I could share. It is a big formal affair at VA Tech. He said there were probably 2000 juniors there, but I am not sure if that is total people or plus dates! VA Bear might know. He said the formal photographer only stayed and hour and that if you didn't do it when he was there, to bad. So they took their own.

yup...cause it was over 3 months time, so it came to less than 2 lbs a week.
