New Platinum Perk?

We sailed 10/31 and it was our first Platinum cruise. In addition to the gifts in the stateroom (Platinum lanyards, beach bag, wet/dry bag and Mickey towel), we also were left a card to call room service for a "Sweet Treat" which was either champagne or a non-alcoholic version. I wasn't expecting it, since I didn't see it anywhere in the perks listing. Was this a perk for turning Platinum or is it an ongoing thing for any Platinums?

It's been a perk for a while. Why it has to go through room service has always been a mystery to me. We usual get the chocolates.
