New Pilot Program for Aug-Sep. 2007....Looks like FREE DINING

Morning :sunny: I booked 9days/8nights @Pop, 2 Adult-1Junior-1Child, 1 day base for all =1019.60. 45 days out to cancel, 7 days out for any name changes.

Hope that helps

Perfect!! Any idea if they were offering Deluxe resorts? I like Pop, but we are more comfortable in a deluxe for long trips. Of course we don't know how long an August trip would be for us at this point, but I am hoping for 9 nights. :goodvibes

EDIT: I see in another post that Deluxes are available! Yay! And if you get a one day pass I don't think they expire - you should be able to keep it for a future trip. I guess we'll plan to have tickets for the number of days of the trip, then see if we want to upgrade to an AP renewal when we get there. :)

We just came back and here's what we got:
4 nights at ASMo standar view with a 1 day base tkt for 2 adults and a 14 month baby: $515.66 for sept 26-30
they quoted us $797.58 at PORiverside for the same dates/people
it includes dining, there was a paper in our room at the POP with the info and it was advertised as free dining and it had the extension to call from your room phone and she did pull up our current reservation to make sure we where there
she also said you can get any number of days on your park tickets and upgrade them to water parks or add the no exp as well, and she said if we don't use the 1 day it won't expire and also the minimum is 3 nights stay...

Is the offer open to guests staying at ANY Disney resort or just a few select ones?

This perfect for DH and I since we will be at POP next week. We already planned on returning to WDW next September our timing is great! Thanks for the info.

Standard deposit paid at booking? Is it $200 or $200 per room? (I can never remember - we usually need two rooms *or* one big room like the FW Cabins).

:thumbsup2

What a great trial!!! :) Sometimes you strike gold and sometimes you miss out on a promotion, but there is *always* something out there! :)

If anyone has the deposit info, I'd be forever grateful. I need to budget it into our spending for SIXTEEN DAYS FROM NOW! Woo hoo! :)

This all sounds wonderful! Here's another question. I'm going with my mom in December...just her and me; we're both on the reservation, but she's the primary. The trip I want to book for next August will be me and my family (DH, DD, DD), but no mom. Does it matter that the rest of my family won't be there in December to book the trip? Does it matter that I'm not the primary on the December reservation? (We can't change it because mom's a TA and the ressie is booked through her)

Any thoughts?

FAred, you can't change the main guest name at all! We dealt with that this past September when we had the free dining booked. We had 10 of us going, in 5 rooms, but then my cousin bailed out. So, we went down to 4 rooms. I had to do a lot of switching around to make it work, because you can't change the lead guest on the ressie. Sorry.

So what if she books for herself, me , DH , and DD and then she is unable to go. If she is the primary and cancels herself would the whole reservation be canceled? Can you even cancel one person from a package?

FAred, I think you can do it that way and then just say she isn't there, etc. Like even if she was going with you, you can check in without her there....like if she was on a later flight. If you are at a place where you have to pay the extra fee per night, then I would guess you would still have to pay that anyway.

And you can cancel and change people, I did this big time in September, just a few days before we went. But they would not let me change the lead guest!

does anybody knows if there is a max number of days for 2007 free dinning? Thanks.

Had to deposit 200.00 for each ressie :goodvibes

Correct -- $200 per reservation, not room.
Maximum 10 nights. (Minimum 3 nights)
For WDW resort guests. (SoG is not included.)
From what I have read guests booking this offer have to show their current room card. And once the guests have left the resort, this offer is no longer open to them.
I can see where something like this may be offered next year, if there is still availability.
But I would certainly book while there if you know you are wanting to return during that time period.

I leave in two days. Plan on finding out all details. I will post while there if anyone is interested.
Hi
I would love to know all the details if you have any time to post. We'll be there in December and there might be 10 of us going in August, so this will give me some time to coordinate the dates with everyone else. Thanks!! Have a great trip!!!

Hi
The ASMusic Suites weren't included in the free dining this past summer. Does anyone know if you could stay there with the free dining next August? Thanks!

I just hope a lot of people do this so they extend it and offer these types of deals all of the time. As a family who goes every year it would be great to book in advance and be rewarded for it . I am a loyal Disney addict and we rarely get codes or discounts, would love to re-book when we visit in July this year for an August 2008 vacation. One can only hope this sticks around.

I told DH about this offer and he said...DO IT...when we are there next week. So...I am planning on a 10 night stay at CBR with free DDP next September for my 49th birthday! :woohoo:

One more detail I didn't mention earlier...You can change the dates if needed. Since I wasn't planning on booking another trip during my stay ( :teeth: ) I was not prepared to commit to a date. The CM said to pick some dates and you can always change later if needed. Also, I was not the primary person on the reservation and I was able to book the promotion for myself and my boyfriend (who was not on the trip). They also said all Disney resorts are available.

Hope this helps!
:thumbsup2

I love it... absolutely love it! I'm one of those who was "going to be there ANYWAY," so this is the icing on top!!
