That would be great! Thanks!

Here is what confuses me: When you go to the Disney website and put in five nights, 5 day magic your way ticket and dining plan, it comes up $879 for 1 adult. If they offer the same thing for $453, that is much more than than the $194 savings they are advertising. Did I do something wrong?

Hmmm I would be interested in doing this with my son. He will start kindergarden next year but I would take him out for a few days in Sept to go. What days are good in Sept to go to WD?

I am sure the offer is based on at least double occupancy, to put a second adult in the room doesn't double the base price you have.

We are going for the first time in December. We also have days left on non expiring tickets. I also would like to know if you can only buy a 1 day base ticket with the deal. We could squeeze a trip in before the kids start school next year. TIA

This will be my boy's first year with no summer school(and we start several days after Labor day...) so this might work out for us too(although we all have AP's) I guess I could save the tickets for a later trip. Checking in on the 12/23rd...and will ask then.

Hi everyone...I just returned from WDW yesterday. I stayed at Yacht Club and happened to stumble upon the desk where they were offerring the special. Here are the details I remember but feel free to ask questions...I did book the trip so I have the information that they handed out. :cool1:

-You have to make a deposit before check out.
-The package is for a minimum of 3 nights.
-Park tickets are included but you can upgrade to hopper passes and/or water parks as well
-Travel dates are 8/5/07 - 9/29/07
-All hotels are available - not just value
-You can transfer the reservation to a travel agent
-Package includes free dining

Hope that helps...I think it is an excellent deal!!
:thumbsup2

I"ll have a AP so I called yesterday and the CM said she thought I would need to get a 3 day ticket and it would expire, but she didn't seem sure.
I called today and the CM called over to the hotel and asked the people selling the program and she told me I would only need a 1 day ticket, I did not ask if it expired, I don't mind losing that for free dinning.
Do you know if that is correct about the one day ticket or didn't you ask?
Thanks!

Hello all,

We are also at WDW and booked our package. We booked it for 7 days and only got the one day pass...same as last year. Value start at $82 a night and Moderate is $145 (preffered king) not sure what standard is. CM told us that is will be offered in April.. WDW Travel said it would not be offered and you had to book now. Still trying to find out the true answer

Darn I just can home last Saturday and would have booked out Sept anniversary trip if I would have known.... Think I could still get it if I called. <GGRRRR>

The CM I spoke with did not indicate how many days you could purchase the passes for. Ours are set to expire at the end of the trip.

I'm not sure the exact day the promotion ends but the CM mentioned more than once it will only last 1-2 months tops and once you leave the resort the deal is void.

I only found out about the promotion by accident so I'm glad I did...Hopefully many others get to take advantage as well!

So basically it is the free dining, but they are just offereing it out to those staying during the next two months in advance of the general public??

WOW this would be so great if we only have to add a 1 day pass!!

Those that only booked the 1 day pass how much are your packages coming up to? Would you get the chance to add days later ion if you wanted to?

THANKS

Morning :sunny: I booked 9days/8nights @Pop, 2 Adult-1Junior-1Child, 1 day base for all =1019.60. 45 days out to cancel, 7 days out for any name changes.

Hope that helps

Does this sound liek an idea that would work? I have a freind leaving tommorow for 9 days at Disney. Could I have her book a trip in her name, mine, and then my daughters and then in a couple of weeks change her name to my usbands. Would it work and is it fair to do something like that?

Can you tell me please if you can make that reservation you've made only while at Disney ?
Sorry for my poor english.

FAred, you can't change the main guest name at all! We dealt with that this past September when we had the free dining booked. We had 10 of us going, in 5 rooms, but then my cousin bailed out. So, we went down to 4 rooms. I had to do a lot of switching around to make it work, because you can't change the lead guest on the ressie. Sorry.

And yes Vero, these can only be made while you are actually staying down there. You have to prove you have a reservation I am pretty sure. Don't worry though, they will offer it to the general public in the Spring.

I know this past year, I booked a few families on the last day you could book and there was plenty of availability. You might not get the resort you want, but I think chances are good everyone here on the DIS will get in on this deal.

When my husband called to inquire about this from our room in the POP the CM said that only the person or persons in the room could book a room. We would want 2 rooms next August but since my DH was the only one there and his name only on the present reservation, he could only book one room at this rate. I checked on 8/12 for 5 nights, 1 day base ticket, 2 adults and the i belive the price was 608 plus change. Did n't book because not sure if we would go if only one room. I wasn't positive about the date either so i decided to take my chances and see what happens later. If you are sure of your dates, etc, go for it. It is their free dining and I am sure it is a test to see what comes from pre booking.
