New PC Keeps dropping my HP Printer! HELP!

I have a new tower with Windows 7 and a HP c6280 All-in-one printer. I load the printer program from the HP site or use the disk and the printer will work fine for a couple of days. Then, for some unknown reason, the printer will not work and it comes up with a message stating the program was not installed completely. If I go into my ADD/DELETE programs list, the program is still listed. The only way I can get it to work is to uninstall and re-install, starting the same vicious cycle again:mad: I have a wireless router and my laptops with XP work fine with it, so I am assuming it is a Windows 7 issue. Does ANYONE have any solutions?:confused3
 
Did you download & install the latest driver update for your printer from HP?
 
My mom is having a similar problem with her printer/scanner. She just got windows 7. I recommend contacting HP support. hp.com/support
 

Maybe there is an extra Win 7 patch to install for the printers?
