New "Official" Frozen: 2015 Frozen Summer Fun June 17 to Sept 7!

Dessert party was so much fun, and fireworks were fantastic! The stage does block some of the lower fireworks. We were along the rope on the right side of the viewing area. DD got to dance with Dale for quite a while. Saw Daisy, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale.

We got in line to check in @ 7:30 (check in is at 8:15). Desserts were mini Anna cupcakes, Sven munch (orange popcorn, pretzels, mini marshmallows, and chocolate chips), mini chocolate bundt cakes, mint and chocolate parfaits, donuts, rice crispy "bon bons", apple crisp I think (?), mixed berries and whipped cream or ice cream.

Woohoo!!! First we say goodbye (to SWW) now we say hello! (Frozen Summer!)

Great show off the balcony tonight, I camped out after 9:30 and it paid off. So now I don't have to wait until the weekends, do I get this treat each night of summer? (Yay!)

Definitely going to see in person but very happy. I was basically resigning myself to the normal Wishes and Illum (Illum is harder to see now that the trees have leaves, but very bright in the winter) and I just had a little hope for Frozen fireworks. So I am super delighted!!

yes! Every night!

When we checked in for our package we were given the choice of sing along times. We picked the last two tickets for the 9:30 show. We gave them to the CM at the package entrance for the sing along.

Thanks! Don't suppose you took a picture of the ticket?

Saw the first Frozen Fireworks tonight and they were great! Interaction during the show with the characters, and timed beautifully to the songs from the movie. They started about 9:40 instead of 9:30 like it says on the times guide, but it could have been a 1st night thing. DJ played past 9:30 and the last few songs were from Frozen which got the crowd going.

Agree that the sing-a-long is better than last year. The historians were great, and seemed to ad lib quite a bit. They were amusing each other as well as the crowd. Less stiff than the normally scripted Disney fare.

Thanks for your report!

Sounds like fun! Do you have pictures of the dessert and party that I could include in the first post?

You could last year and I believe you can this year. We picked the last singalong that was available and after it was over it was time to head to the desert party. We just only waited like 3 minutes and it was time for the desert party. Which was nice we scheduled all our FP for the afternoon.
That's our plan for our FSF PP day in July - I'm glad that it worked for you as I had hoped I would hear!

Delicious! Can't wait to snack on these!

Does anyone have pics from the dessert party? Also, one of you said you lined up 30 minutes before dessert party opened. did you feel that was necessary? if we get there on time will we be fine?

YIPPEE - just added the 7th (was going to arrive on the 8th of Sept) to be sure we get to catch the Frozen Fun! I know they may extend it a bit but I feel better not 'gambling' on it :-) So now I have a lot of reading to catch up on/ keep up with!

Any reports from the first day of the process for standby/Fastpass and how it works in the new location as opposed to the Premiere Theatre? First reports seem to indicate that Fastpass might not be as beneficial in the Hyperion Theatre as it was at the Premiere.

We will be there on 9/7 and booked the premium package. I can't wait! Also can't wait to start seeing some pics and hearing reviews.

FP and standby got mixed together once in the holding area, just like they did with AIE. Package Guests and Standby w/c guests were in a separate queue up front and had none to little ability to view the screens. W/C FP+ were in a separate queue at the top/back of queue then theater.

I was looking into booking the premium package and I keep getting an error message for the package page. Anyone else having problems?

I am sure this is one of many...i am booking fp+ tonight and the many glitches make me nervous that something will go wrong. Probably will!

While we were at CBR last weekend, I got an email from Disney saying that all my fast passes were about to be deleted because a ticket wasn't linked to my account. Went to GS and the cm saw there was 360 days left on my pass. She made a note in the computer in case there was an issue. We had no problems on Wednesday with our FP's!

I hope you have no problems.

Do you have to do the whole premium package in the same day?
For example could I do the fireworks one night and the sing along show the next morning etc...

my main concern is that there are 7 of us under 3 reservations. I am the only one who appears and sometimes it shows me we are all linked and sometimes it seems to forget.

I bought the Premium package.
What time is the Welcome reception? Where is it? Where is the viewing area? What time should you line up?
What time is the dessert party? Do you have to get there early and line up before they open the doors?

We did the package last year --- trying to decide if we want to do it again this year.

Last year, there were no FP for the sing along. It was package reserved or first come first served for those without the package.

I've already made FP for the Frozen sing along so what's the "advantage" for doing the package at least as far as it relates to the sing along? (I get the dessert party, reserved spot for parade & fireworks, etc.) -- was wondering if they were going to do away with the FP for the sing along!

You can do as much of the package as you want, but entitlements are only good that day. You FP or standby the singalong another day

Yikes! You can call tech support for help. A cm there made mine when we were having problems.

Disney's link isn't working at the moment and I didn't copy and paste the info. But I know people were lining up well before the time listed on Disney's site.

Viewing area is to the left of the stage for both parade and fireworks.

The parade is at 10:30am.

FP is available for the show.
