New "Official" Frozen: 2015 Frozen Summer Fun June 17 to Sept 7!

The 24 hour event is a huge draw. However, you also have SWW going on at the same time. I hope to pop over to the 24 hour event, but plan on catching the Star Wars Fireworks at DHS.

We're doing the same thing. I planned on having kind of a free day, but now we'll do MK in the AM, nap and then heading to HS for dinner and fireworks. After fireworks, my girls and I are pulling an all-nighter! Need to convince DH to stay back at the hotel with the baby.

If they run the same schedule as they did last year, then the parade will be around 11am. The Frozen Sing Along happens all day long. And the fireworks at night are truly the best fireworks in WDW. You could easily go to DHS in the morning, get all your Frozen stuff done by early afternoon, head to Epcot and then get back in time for the fireworks. They are a must see - and you don't need to spend any money on an expensive viewing package. You can see everything just fine without it, in my opinion. :)

I said I'd never go back to Orlando in the summer, but this event makes we want to book a short trip. ;)

Definitely agree with @Wood Nymph about the package, it's not necessary. In fact, the last time we did the package, we left the reserved parade viewing area and headed over to our favorite spot. The dessert is very nice though, but you can easily grab an Olaf cupcake and Frozen drink and enjoy that on your own.

We did that over Labor Day weekend. Ate at Biergarten for a late lunch then came back for fireworks. It worked out great!

Thanks !!!! I think I had posted the pic of the Frozen Leggings that Kohls is selling (online)
They had adults too ! DW (the big baby !! LOL) got a few pair as well--- $14.99 reduced from $35-40
Only $7.99 for the kiddies--- They are really nice !!!

So excited for FSF again !! Had booked a trip weeks ago (7/1-7/8) hoping they would bring it back !!!
Thanks for the update !!!

Yes! I saw that. Too hot during FSF for leggings. Even right now it's in the 80's in FL, and kind of humid today.

You were smart to book those dates! Congratulations.

so wed it begins in june. so is the parade everyday along with the fireworks or just certain nights so i can rope off a day for my kid for this. she will be happy about being here the same time. i get to enjoy Star Wars and she gets to enjoy frozen a few days later. lol

Last year it was every day!

Thank you all for the information! My DDs will LOVE this. We also have a free day planned for Sunday the 21st, so that may be a day we can catch the fireworks as well!

DH will just be thrilled. hahaha

What time are the fireworks scheduled? I'm assuming they don't overlap with Fantasmic. We'll be at DHS on September 3rd and we currently have a Fantasmic dining package scheduled, but I'm sure Miss 3 would rather see Anna and Elsa. Will we be able to catch both?

The rule of thumb last year, was 15 minutes before park closing.

It's best to do the fireworks then the 2nd Fantasmic. It is possible to do the early F! and then fireworks, but it isn't very easy to find a spot where she could see them. People complained last year of their children not being able to see them after F! because of the street already filled with people and children too small. Best viewing for little ones is around Echo lake and Minn and Bill's. There was an area near the Idol screen where everyone sat, so it was easy to watch A&E on the big screen and see the fireworks between the now gone hat and the "Idol" marquee.

bummer... we'll miss FSF by 1 month. my daughter would have loved it. Coincidentally, we plan on going to MK on May 22 so we'll be there for the 24 hr event, but can't stay the whole time b/c we leave the next day and want to go to AK on our last day.

Out of curiosity, was anyone who went to the 24 hour event able to see characters last year? I was told the lines closed almost right away with people waiting hours to see them? If this is the case, we will probably skip the 24 hour event and stick with SWW.

How are lines at the gate at 6am on Friday?

Is it like a normal opening, less people than that, or line up for the $5 big screen tv at Best Buy?

In other words what time is a good gate arrival timed for RD at 6am? We are at BLT, so no transportation to deal with. :-)

Can someone give me an idea of ride wait times say around the time of parade do they decrease a lot or not at all? We are going to be there
Aug 9th and I probably have some of the only kids who can't stand frozen so there will be no need to watch the parade..Thanks!

Dang...I had relegated DHS to afternoon after Epcot because we did most of the stuff last February. We were going to hit the highlights and then F! Dinner package. Looks like now we need to do AM then Epcot then back to DHS.
can anyone tell me the time it takes between Epcot and DHS? Also, we are doing F! Dinner and it is an EMH night...any ideas on when the fireworks would be and best way to see them? It will be late August andI think a crowd 5 day.

I don't think there are 2 Fantasmic shows on 9/3.

I would think so. @Missyrose said 6 to noon was fine last year and after fireworks. In between was very busy.

It took us about 30 minutes walking from DHS to the gate at Epcot at a slow pace. On the way back, we stepped up the pace and it took us 30 minutes from the Biergarten to entry of DHS.

The parade lowered attraction wait times by a little.

Keep in mind that the fireworks affected attractions more than anything. GMR, TSMM, some others, and walkways closed prior to fireworks.
