New "Official" Frozen: 2015 Frozen Summer Fun June 17 to Sept 7!

Question. I'm 18 and will be there with my cousin for our Senior trip. We're clearly wanting to get dressed up and go to the 24 hour event! However, we're obviously too young to have a rental car... so does anyone know what time the buses start running and all that fun stuff? Thanks!

This just makes things difficult now. We had planned to only go to DHS possibly one evening (after one of the water parks), if at all. Not sure if we can stick to that plan now. However, if we were to arrive at DHS say around 5pm...is the processional/parade the only thing we would likely miss out on?

as soon as I heard the announcement I checked flights and hotel rooms!... It would be a short stay but I really really want to do this! How crowded to these events get? I really dont mind waiting in line for rides and such ( I have 24hrs for peek sake) and it would be a great chance to people watch.. Anybody that is not local and does not already have plans to go consider this? Just curious...

The 24 hour event gets crowded. As @Missyrose explained earlier, 6 am to noon was not crowded and as others shared 3 am was not crowded.

I'm local and will probably skip the 24 hour event for SWW and sleep.

I think buses typically run and hour before and an hour after an event. @Missyrose you used Disney transportation?

For FSF, you'll be able to catch the fireworks and probably the singalong. Doesn't look like there is Oaken's Snowground this year. The bars with Frozen themed beverages will be open. And you should be able to find Frozen treats too. And the DJ dance party should start sometime after 5.

Crowds were low in the morning, until about noon. Crowds built throughout the afternoon and it was jammed from late afternoon through the night time entertainment (MSEP and Wishes). People began to leave after the fireworks, but it didn't feel like the crowds really started to thin again until after midnight.

Buses will run until the last guest is swept out of the park. We've taken Disney transportation 90 to 120 minutes after park close before.

If they run the same schedule as they did last year, then the parade will be around 11am. The Frozen Sing Along happens all day long. And the fireworks at night are truly the best fireworks in WDW. You could easily go to DHS in the morning, get all your Frozen stuff done by early afternoon, head to Epcot and then get back in time for the fireworks. They are a must see - and you don't need to spend any money on an expensive viewing package. You can see everything just fine without it, in my opinion. :)

I said I'd never go back to Orlando in the summer, but this event makes we want to book a short trip. ;)

Where would you go to get a good place to stand to watch the fireworks if we dont get a package ? I have ever been to HS when they have fireworks.

Does HS usually have a Fantasmic show after it closes? On 9/2/15, HS closes at 8:00p, with F! at 8:30. I'm assuming Frozen fireworks will be at 7:45...just checking if I'd be able to watch both that particular night.

For the 24-hour event, does park admission count as May 22 no matter when you enter? We arrive at WDW evening of 5/22 for SWW. Wondering about perhaps waking up really early to spend 3-6am in MK on 5/23 then going to DHS for SWW and wondering if that will count as park admission for two days or one.

We will be at WDW on 5/22 (our last full day). We had already planned on doing MK that day (got BOG ADR for dinner, so I'd hate to lose it). This was all before finding out about the 24 hour event. I have 3 small kids who will not make it past 8 or 9 PM. I really dislike massive crowds. Should I switch our park that day? My kids love Frozen, but I am afraid it will all be too much. I was avoiding DHS because of Star Wars Weekends. Anyone have advice for me! Kids are barely 3, turning 5 while there, and 8. Should I be excited or scared?

If you are annual passholder, would you need to purchase regular park admission or does the AP get you access to the event as well? Thanks =)

Anyplace on Hollywood Boulevard is good. We stood near the park entrance in front of the Crossroads of the World booth. It wasn't verycrowded there, we had a great view of the fireworks, and we were able to make a quick exit before the crowd hit the gates. But it was hard to see the stage show from there.

They had a secondary screen where Hollywood Blvd. meets Sunset Blvd. so those standing further back on Hollywood Blvd. could see some of the stage show.

So if you want to book FPs for July 22, what time would your window open up? :scratchin

With the announcement of a Frozen sequel today, I don't think Frozen fever is going to chill anytime soon.

We actually thought that was a great place to stand to watch the fireworks- right where the screen was.

If they do it like last year though, Fantasmic got out just before the fireworks. The CM's taped off the street to allow them a walkway out and anyone watching the fireworks had to stay outside of that tape line. They policed the line very well but it did get intense with people coming out of Fantasmic thinking they could just push their way into the very full area with people who had been waiting for an hour to watch the fireworks. The CM's were great though and would not allow them to even slow down or try and those few who managed to try to push in were quickly met by a CM making them move on to less crowded areas.

So glad to hear this is back! We arrive the 13th so it works out perfect!

Need advice on the 24 event. We've been going Memorial Day week for quite a few years, and this will be the 1st time we've been there for the 24 event. This will also be our first trip with our (then) 9mo old son. We would arrive around 2pm, and normally go straight to MK to hit a few highlights before dinner. I'm thinking now that I want to avoid it. There no chance we'll make it past fireworks, especially after driving all morning.

Option 2 is taking our time driving down, stopping at the grocery, spending some time in DTD or the pool, then hitting our dinner reservation at O'Hana and watching wishes from the Poly beach instead.
