*** New Official February 2013 Thread ***

14 days from now, at this time, we will be in Magic Kingdom! East TN in morning, WDW by early afternoon! Woohoo!

I was just thinking next week this time I'll be in
DISNEY

Just got back last night! We had a gear trip but I am exhausted! Flew into Philly post-storm and then a 4 hour drive home from there. Didn't get settled until around 8 o'clock. If anyone has any questions is be happy to answer.... Except for the fact that its hard to stay on the Dis AFTER the trip. Don't want to get to bummed.... But I'll pop in here & there to see how the Feb group is doing :-)

Just wanted to add that our day at Discovery Cove was perfect. It was well worth the $$ and we all agreed it was the best day of the whole trip.... For anyone that was part if the earlier discussions about it. However, there were a couple of chillier days that it would not have been as great. We lucked out with the date we picked, it was the sunniest & hottest of the week.

Glad to hear you had such a nice time Moopdog:).
How did you find the crowds?
Isn't it funny how we come back completely worn out from Disney vacations? They sure are fun.. but not exactly relaxing:rolleyes1

12 more sleeps for us. This upcoming weekend is busy busy busy. It will be Monday (which is a holiday here in Canada) before I can pack and get everything together. Then it's change the money at the bank, make sure the house is clean, and off to Disney:banana:
Finally heading into the home stretch. It has been so cold and snowy, I just can't wait for some sunshine!

Do any of y'all that are either back, or there, have any insight on how long the wait is for lunch at Be Our Guest? Not sure how long my little man will be patient. Thanks!! :)

My girlfriend waited two hours

I'm really starting to be glad we decided not to eat at Be Our Guest, showed the kids the menu and none of us were impressed...I think we'll just look at the castle from the outside this go around and go get some of that frozen apple juice from Gaston's I've heard about;)
oh and just wanted to add that at this time in two days we will be at ASsp...so excited, gonna be packing tomorrow!!:goodvibes

We actually enjoyed our lunch at BOG, am happy we didn't do the dinner even though I had tried so hard to get ADR's. The apple juice at Gaston's was $10 a glass FYI :crazy2:

It's not that I don't think it would be cool to eat in there, maybe one day,but to wait that long for sandwiches is not worth it when we can be enjoying rides!
Yeah I saw the price on the menu here, but DS loves apple juice and him and I can share!!;)

Yeah it's mostly salads and sandwiches, but I got the braised pork and I'm still drooling over it. Must find a recipe!! Love that a counter service meal can be served on real plates with real silverware, and they bring it out to you and clean it up. :rotfl:

We are doing both the CS and TS and I cannot wait!!! Not the same day though. Lol

Today we're going to Magic Kingdom! Can't wait to see New Fantasyland :)

We'll be on our way to the airport within the next 30 minutes! :cool1:

I'll try to post once in a while from WDW. We have a BOG dinner ADR tomorrow.

is EVERYBODY going to Disney on the 24th??? Seems like we all have the same "sleeps" left until we go! Wonder if this means it will be crowded........ oh well I don't care. Just happy happy happy to be going! ( I did see though that all of the crowd calendars have it at low-ish attendance)

We're leaving on the 23rd. We'll be in Epcot on the 24th :cool1:. I'm a little nervous about marathon crowds, but we want to hit this park twice and this day just worked out for us. I figure since we'll be there before 9, we'll get the big attractions done early and it won't matter too much if its crowded the rest of the day :). I can barely get through regular life now I'm so excited!
