Which castle preshow are you speaking of? Do you mean the show before MSEP or some other time? Thanks for the tips.

There is a ten minute long show that is projected on the castle that begins fifteen minutes before the start of the Wishes fireworks show every night. It is worth seeing. :)

2 weeks until we leave!! I am so excited! I am super nervous tho reading about all these tour groups as we are staying at pop and the idea of huge lines with an impatient 2 year old is scaring me!

We're flying TOMORROW :D:D

Our countdown flew by!

We'll be at MK on Monday, so I'll be able to tell you what's up in Disney.

We arrived at POR this afternoon. I love this resort. Can't wait to hit the parks tomorrow.

Yay!!! 13 sleeps and I will be there too! Have a lovely trip and lots of fun in the parks tomorrow:goodvibes

Well, I switched a dining reservation again. We had a reservation at 50's Prime Time for the first time since 2008. There wasn't much on the menu that dd could eat (vegetarian) though. And then as I was reading through someones trip report I saw a picture of the lines for Fantasmic and thought "I really don't want to stand in that":rolleyes2
I do however want to go to Fantasmic on this trip. So I grabbed a lunch reservation at Mama Melrose with the Fantasmic package. We've eaten there once before and liked it just fine. And being able to go to the reserved section and slip out easily at the end of Fantasmic is a huge plus. So I'm happy with the change.
I usually like to have our TS credit for dinners but we'll eat a small breakfast in the room, go for rope drop, have our big meal at 12:30 and leave for a rest and a swim (weather permitting). Then we can have a CS dinner at POR food court (which we love) and head back to the Studios.
The other plan is to try to stay all day which shouldn't be a problem if we are well rested and the weather is nice, though I do find we run out of things to do with a whole day at the Studios. If it wasn't for Toy Story Mania I wouldn't even try to make this a rope drop day but we LOVE that ride and want to ride it twice without long waits if we can.

Funny you mention this. DBF announced today that he was using his veto power on the ADRs (I usually do all the planning). And I was shocked that he wanted to do Kona for breakfast!!! I was so excited. He's never really hungry for breakfast, so it's always a shock. I think he read somewhere about Tonga Toast. EXCITED!!

just got back yesterday. had the BEST VACATION EVER. literally was perfect. hope the rest of you leaving this month have a great time :)

Do any of y'all that are either back, or there, have any insight on how long the wait is for lunch at Be Our Guest? Not sure how long my little man will be patient. Thanks!! :)

so 2 1/2 more days til we're on the way, keep looking at accuweather and weather.com and both say rain but one says more then the other, which have you found to be more accurate? Just praying the rain doesn't rain on our parade:rotfl2:

i was there from feb 2 - feb 9. on feb 3 we tried to go to be our guest for lunch a bit later, around 1:30, which is when i heard it started to slow down. not the case on this particular day! the line was about an hour and 15 minutes. it was off the bridge and around the corner. so we left. i was sad :(. we went back on feb 6 around 1 and the line was about 45 minutes, but the CM said it would probably be less. the line was right to the end of the bridge. so we got in line and it took about 30 minutes from the time we entered the line to the time we ordered our food. i think the backlog happens at the ordering stations because there were plenty of empty tables inside but it seemed like it was slow and crowded in the ordering room. anyways if the line is just to the end of the bridge it shouldn't take much more than 30-40 minutes!!

Is it just me , or does anyone else OBSESSIVELY plan your Disney vacation?? I have a special binder all decorated with pictures of Disney and sparkles. I have sections for the resort, dining, parks, flight, packing, notes. I also have charts with best days for each park, park hours and special event times etc. It is SOOOO much fun to plan! You are not alone! I actually use a WonderFile. It's the folder that opens with 9 pockets and then folds to normal size. It used to be sold on TV, I picked mine up at CVS a few years ago. I keep all WDW planning info in it. And I don't empty upon returning from a trip until I start planning the next one! :cool1: I love to plan too. I make all my own charts, park hrs, adr's, and anything else I think I need!

Do you know what time they cut off the lunch line? We want a late lunch there and I see their lunch hours stop at 230. I wonder if I would be able to get in line closer to 230?

I'm right there with all of you. I use an excel file to keep track of my plans and email it to myself daily with my updates..... Between this thread, the dining review threads and the February Facebook group, I'm driving myself nuts! 14 more days for us, too!
