***NEW MyMagic & FastPass+ Official Information & FAQ Thread***

I just had a moment of panic when I realized that since I'll have no paper ticket, I can't use FP-. Please tell me that this will be okay, and I won't be waiting in lines all day!

I believe that you can use FP- with your KTTW card at least through the testing phase. Just ask for one when you check in.

Yes, you can link your reservation in MDE. I used the confirmation number from Travelocity in the email on the MDE site and it worked just fine the first try. Your reservation will show as normal if it goes through. It is not the normal reservation number - it is an 11 digit string, all numbers. And mine did not start with a 4.

You can link MBs to your ressie and guests when the window opens up. I was able to do that a few days before my 60 day mark. The MB will then show the confirmation number starting with a 4 (which is what I think most people are referring to but it is not needed to link reservation initially).

I linked my tickets afterward, purchased separately. Then added FP+ options right on the 60 day mark when the options opened up.

I believe you will have to have the resort ressie added before you can do FP+, even if you linked tickets okay.

Ok my travelocity trip ID does not work nor does the confirmation cope that came in the email. I called travelocity and they said there is not another number to use.:confused3 Any thoughts? :rolleyes1

Help someone? Anyone?

We've finally figured out how to make FP+ selections, and everything was going along swimmingly, until.....

We were making our final set of FP Reservations, picked our park, day and times...and it said that I have reached my FP+ limit.

What??

The other 2 members of my group are all set, but not me?

Weird huh? I'm the one who booked the trip, the resort, and DP and I both have shiny new APs...

Any ideas what's going on here? A kink in the matrix?

Any thoughts?

The same thing happened to me. It would make the fp+ for my husband and not me and I'm the one with the account! I just logged out and then back in and tried for the same day, it then let me do it and I didn't have a problem with it after that! Hope that helps! (And saves you hours sitting on hold with IT!)

Hi Echo queen---

I have also booked thru Travelocity and found this info on the Resorts Thread---It was so simple after fighting with the MDE site to link my reservation!!!

On my printout from Travelocity they list a confirmation # this is what I used, not the Trip ID#

1) Go to mydisneyreservation.com

2) Click on link "through group or convention" under the "Please tell us how you booked
your stay" area

3) Then enter your information!

I can't remember if my reservation showed up on MDE later that night or the next day. I've been able to link ME, Tickets, ADR's and FP+

Hope this works for you!!

Ok I called WDW and they gave me a number that started with a 4 and it worked fine.

Mt 2 UCT tickets linked fine.

My other 2 KTTW tickets :headache: from 2008 could not be linked, they said it would have to be while I'm there some where at disney. Tech support said I could make FP ressies for the 2 tickets that worked and then they could make FP's for my to older tickets to match the times.

I have a :headache: now 4 calls and countless hours later.

Thank for the help and suggestions.:lovestruc

So I have a question about how you find out when magic bands are ready. On MDE, I only have an option for manage magic bands. Whe. I click on it it just tells me I have to link them. What link should've there so I know, or am I missing something?! Thanks!

Just for the person that is edits this document :goodvibes

Received invitation today for our visit beginning on Dec 8th at Grand Floridian Villas. :cool1:

You can't customize magicbands at this time until:

1) You have a Disney resort reservation
2) They've "flipped the switch" on reservations for the time period in which you are checking in

The latter happens anywhere between 45-75 days or so it seems, but it is all subject to change.

Has anyone called about the duplication of FP+ choices after trying to change your FP+ selections? Just wondering as I was hoping it would resolve on it's own, but no luck yet. It's starting to confuse me since the times do not match with my own typed itinerary. :confused3

I'm not going to worry about it. I have some from changes I've made, even today. But if I go in and try to change the ones that actually don't exist, they are not showing up as being able to be changed. There's something going on where they are changed in the system but leftover in the display. Does that make sense? Since I was a computer programmer in my former life, that's how I would explain it. It's not being erased, but it's actually not there.

It's a mess. But, the FPs I booked and do want to keep have the right times and # of people. I am not going to worry about the 4th one listed at the wrong time with only 2 people!

UGH! I just checked "My Plans" and I have a lot more duplicate FPs than I did a few days ago!
