Thank you, I'm doing great. No one warned me how painful the contractions are 2 days after delivery. Whew... they were just as bad as labor sometimes. Apparently with each pregnancy it's harder for the uterus to shrink down so the contractions were much worse. They are all gone now.

I've always pumped instead of B/Fing so I rented a hospital grade pump and "go to the barn" about 6 times per day. My goal is to pump 8 times, so I'm getting there.

Bleeding has been much less then the other 2 and I'm still sooooo glad I came home a day early. That was the best decision for me.

My MIL is visiting from Florida and has been a huge help. From laundry to baths and meals. I'll miss her when she leaves next week, but I'll also be glad to have my house back.

I haven't been on much so I am just getting to say...

If you think that hurt, don't let them sweep your membranes...OUCH!!!! Yeah, I was always uncomfortable after getting checked. You may even spot! Nothing to be alarmed about though if you do.

They always hurt for me. I actually dreaded the appointments because of them!

Just popping in to check on everyone!!! I'm doing good - getting HUGE!!! Going in for my glucose test in about a week and beginning biweekly appointments now!!! Just thought I would share my latest belly picture with you all - it's my 26 week pictures!! Getting lots of "battle scars" aka stretch marks I'm not too sure I can stretch for 13 more weeks!!!

Great belly pic! its lovely! I was over on the twin forums I have been reading on, and the belly pics scare me over there. OMG. Am I going to get that big??? Sadly, YES. Because I already look like I am 6 months pregnant.

Yesterday, I was helping my son with something... miscalculated... and knocked him over with my belly. We were rolling.

Going to OB this afternoon to check placenta and heart sounds...starting spotting on Saturday night and it has not stopped ... the urgent care doc says not to worry but somehow that does not make me feel real reassured. Did not have any bleeding w/ my other pregnancies...
Has anyone had this happen in month 5?

What a cute belly! I would share mine, but I'm only 9 weeks so you still can't see much LOL I can't wait to have a big belly again!

Best of luck this afternoon! I don't have any experience with spotting that late in pregnancy, so I'm afraid I'm not too much help there. I'm sure everything will be just fine!

This is my first pregnancy, and I'm right behind you, so I have no experiences of my own to relate. Early on I had some brown spotting, but that's been gone for a while now. I hope your OB can reassure you.


I'm not posting any belly pics! Not yet, anyway.

I have had LOTS of spotting and bleeding on and off this entire pregnancy!! With me it hasn't been anything to worry about. I had light pink spotting at 8 weeks and was diagnosed with a "threatened abortion" (miscarriage), but nothing ever happened. Then at 13 weeks I woke up around 3am soaked in bright red blood and headed straight for the ER expecting to be told I had lost the baby, but the heartbeat was there and fine and my cervix was tightly closed, but I was still diagnosed with a "threatened abortion". I saw my OB the following morning and had an ultrasound. They found that my placenta was over my cervix and that I had a subchorionic hemorrhage (a hemorrhage between the wall of the uterus and the amniotic sac). She said the bleeding was most likely from that. I was put on modified bedrest and had another episode at 17 weeks, then again at 19 weeks and both times my little girl was fine! I haven't had anymore heavy bleeding but I have had two more episodes of spotting since then and all is still fine with my little girl!

I'm having a hard time remembering exactly what week I was, but I think around 27? Anyway, I have some bleeding after a couple of pretty active days. I went in, of course, to be checked out, and apparently had a polyp on my cervix. I guess it's pretty common. Babies were fine, and it went away by that evening. After that, I was just asked to be more restrictive in my activity (no more long walks etc).
