New Mommy

I think it's best for you to discuss this with your dr. and let him decide. I will say that spotting in early pregnancy is fairly normal as long as it is not bright red. I spotted once during my second pregnancy. This was my third and I actually spotted 3 or 4 times, never with any other symptoms. I was never put on bedrest or told to do anything differently and everything has turned out fine as far as I know. He's a good size baby and due any day now. :)

You may also want to start checking out some parenting/pregnancy message boards. I'm sure the people around here will always be willing to listen and offer up advice when possible, but you would be better off discussing your pregnancy on related message boards. Try babycenter.com or do a google search until you find one that you think fits your needs.

Congratulations!

I had slight spotting with my oldest child. It stopped within a few hours of starting. Everything turned out fine but it was still a very nerve-wracking time. Put your feet up and try to relax. I'm hoping all goes well at your doctor's visit.

Some pixie dust pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: and hugs :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: for you.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. The spotting stopped within minutes of starting. I am having a little discomfort undr my breast on my ribs but I have been sitting leaning over working on some notebook projects for a reunion, so that may be it. But no pain in my back or abdominal area. Yeah! I am taking that as a good sign. I will let ya'll know about the doc visit when I get home. Thanks again for the support! Keep praying!

Congratulations! I hope all goes well at the doctor's appointment!

I have four children and learned something new with each pregnancy. I recommend joining a birthclub for women due the same month you are. Babycenter.com is a great place for TONS of information! It has birthclub boards where you can post and answer questions or just talk with other mommies due the same month you are!!

Good luck!

Congratulations!!!! As a mommy of two little girls (one who insists on calling me honey! lol)....The best advice I could give you would be to relax and enjoy your pregnancy....Drink plenty of water and if your body tells you to nap, than you nap....Listen to your body....Nothing compares to the first time you see that little heartbeat....Best of luck!! :cool1:

I spotted off and on throughtout my entire pregnancy. I went to the OB and got frequent ultrasounds just to check everything out. I agree with the other posters...run it by your OB and see what he or she says.
