that makes sense - I never got to that point because we decided pretty quickly to switch to resale once we saw how much Disney wanted for BLT or VGF!

When you say "talk numbers", what does that mean? Are the direct prices and cost negotiable? Have you negotiated a way to sweeten a deal? We are cash buyers which used to mean something but these days I wonder if the guides don't get an extra kickback if they can sell you on financing. I am pretty sure this is true in the car sales industry.

The actual specifics regarding closing costs, what option I had for minimums below advertised, getting a different UY than what I had.

He would not even confirm the CM discount we got for my DD until he gave me the requirement of what she had to send to him.

There were no different prices but simply wouldn’t confirm too much via email.

Yes but we wanted a new UY when we first bought because the resale UY was the worst. At the time the minimum was 160 and because it would be a new membership he wouldn’t discuss that via email to be allowed to purchase less.

Ultimately, I was allowed to purchase my June UY with 130 but any questions I had about that were always answered via phone call. He needed special approval so would not commit to it in writing.

Sounds like some guides will now share more than what might be published.
