New incentive for current DVC owners

Apparently the poly must not be selling to current members as well as Disney would like. Got a call today from DVC that Disney would give us a bonus 10 points for the life of the contract if we bought 100 (or more) add on at Poly or Aulani. I know they have offered this with Aulani in the past (and other resorts) but this is the first I'd heard of them doing it with the Poly. Supposedly it's their 25th anniversary offer and expires in March.
I looked at the email he sent as well-
100-149 points purchased =10 bonus points
150-199=15 bonus
200-249=20 bonus
Etc

I would do it if they gave 10pts for 50pt or more purchase... That would make it $140pp which is steep but not completely unreasonable

I'd much prefer a 10% discount on any number of points, I don't think I'll ever buy more than 25 or 50 direct points at a time.

25 points at PVB won't go very far. This 10% discount essentially makes getting a fixed week free. That's, in my opinion, the only reason to buy PVB direct.

Except that it doesn't apply to fixed weeks.
