Color me confused. I went to LMT and the promo is still on the front page and when I clicked on the banner, it still gives all the details. Who got the off message and what does the slickdeals site mean when they say yesterday's time was "random"?

Will the LMT site just allow random visitors throughout the day to book? I was really only looking to add a few days to the end of our trip in June so I guess no biggie, but it was kinda fun to think you might get a deluxe for free.

I only stayed up until 2 a.m. and then was supposed to get up at5:30, but phone rings and--we had a 2 hr snow delay--Yeah for me.

Found this radio station that kept giving me songs that fit my mood. Now I just flipped on same station and it was singing "1 is the lonliest number, 1...."

Well here has been my lovely adventure with them even AFTER getting the promo. I booked CSR for 9/2009. I was worried that this whole free hotel thing is a scam so I called Disney. The first CM I got was supposedly able to look it up and even link my room to my BIL's room (his was booked through WDW). However, I called back to make sure it was showing paid and got two CM's who said it is "impossible" to look up a 3rd party ressie. So I thought well maybe they don't normally check. I mean if you book Expedia I guess they don't have it in their system until later. So then I go to book magical express following the directions LMT gave me. The website doesn't exist. So I call and ME says they have never even heard of LMT, but if a ressie does exist it won't show up until 30-45 days out and then I should be able to call back and schedule. Is anyone else having all of these problems? I guess I worry that this whole thing is a scam or that LMT will go out of business by then. Has anyone ever booked ME using a 3rd party?

Good morning all! Thought I'd check in to see what I missed after I gave up & went to bed at 1:30am this morning. After 25 1/2 hours of being GLUED to this computer waiting....

At 1:30am I got a message saying I broke the rules...I ended up using an auto refresher many hours in...but at the start, there was no rule saying you couldnt (that I saw)...just no auto form fillers, blah blah blah. Who's gonna spend 25 hours hitting refresh??? Not me, not if there's some other way.

So, I went to bed PO'd...after breaking chat silence like so many others with a message about Dis.

Count me among those to never visit LMT again! This was handled WAY too poorly for me to deal with them again.

I'm glad so many Dis'ers got their free rooms last week! Congrats & enjoy your vaca!!!!! And, yes, I am SO jealous. LOL

For those that did get reservations, try to log into your account there and view the reservation. Last night I logged in and all was fine. Today I tried and I just get redirected to the login page. Is the website acting squirrelly for everyone trying to view?

Can you believe it?! It was handled very poorly. They probably lost A LOT of potential customers, really a bigger loss for them than for us. It was fun participating on this thread though, so not all was lost.

I am still not sure what went on last night....but from the posts that I read hear I can tell whatever it was - was not good. I spent many hours last week and yesterday trying to get a $1 room...of course I didn't. Good luck to all of you that did!!

I posted this earlier on, I won on Thursday and was able to verify my ressie through Disney yesterday. you have to tell them it was a wholesale booking. It took me 30 minutes of being transferred around because they can only see your name with the main system. When they transferred me to wholesale they were able to pull up all of my room info. I gave them a couple of days to make sure it was in the system.
