I was able to order on this morning, I already have one I bought on Ebay but the DB is off by 1/8 of an inch. I was going to send the bad bag back to Dooney because they said they repair it but if any one is interested in taking if off my hands when my new bag comes in let me know. You'd need to take the repair up with Dooney if the label bothers you....it bothers me for sure but you may find it very minor. Never used, tassels are still wrapped. Not looking to make any money or list on Ebay.

Hoping every one that wants a bag can have one. I know I longed for it for months...lol!

So my bag shipped on the 2nd I got the notification email at 3pm my time and my bags showed up at 4:30 today. I'm so excited!!!! Mine looks amazing. I've left my sister's bag with all the Dooney paper over it so she can open it up when I bring it to her on Sunday. She has no idea yet, she's going to be so surprised (as long as she doesn't read this thread lol)

I think someone might have posted something about this way back, but . . . I just saw a D&B Smith bag at TJ Maxx that had the hideous combination of a red lining with the green suede on the fold-over (the outside of the purse was a deep navy with a textured alligator-type finish). So, I'm guessing this is why they originally replaced the staining red suede on the HM bag with the green as they were already using this odd combo on other bags. Thank goodness they went with purple!

Also, are there different sizes of this style because the one I saw in the store didn't look nearly as large as the HM bag appears. The one at TJ's had a retail sale price of $398.00.

My bag arrived today, and it is much bigger than the one I saw at TJ Maxx. My metal D&B label is just a cat's whisker off being perfectly straight (the gold part), but my DH assures me no one will notice. I might not have noticed myself had it not been mentioned here, so I was really looking closely. It did not come with a dust cover, but one wasn't listed on the site description. Did anyone else get one? Otherwise, it is one way cool bag!

Sending big time pixie dust Disney/Dooney get there rears in gear so everyone who wants one of these bags can get one!

If it's just a hair off don't worry about it. The one I got was way off! I have other Disney Dooney bags that are slightly off and it doesn't bother me. Too bad Dooney can't get things right but enjoy your bag! Don't worry about the very slight imperfection!! Congrats!!

Also, Disney Dooney's don't come with a dust bag.

Any one have any ideas around what will be coming this fall? I bet a small satchel (similar to the florentine satchel) and hopefully a wallet in the Smith bag color and pattern. Hopefully they won't use the graphics they introduced for the HM on the Disney blog. I like the understated pattern of the original.

Also wondering why they are introducing so much nylon and other patterns that aren't so appealing. They should just get down to business and produce nothing but HM!LOL. Just makes me feel like they are purposely keeping HM limited to gain heat and height.

I'm likely sending my original bag back to D&B this weekend to be fixed or replaced (assuming they have the ability to replace it). Has anyone with the newer bags (purple lining) had issues with the black and grey flaking off on the outside? While I honestly prefer the purple lining to the red, if there will be similar quality control issues with the new bags, I think I'd rather just keep mine. Especially since I have to foot the bill for shipping it to their facility.
